Well, im quite satisfied with the car, in terms of pickup, i'm nt hardfooted, so its enough in town driving. but i dont really like the brakes. was in like a slope about 20~30 degrees high and even whole holding the brakes down hard, i still could feel the car SLOWLY moving downwards. not sure if its only my car or what. cornering feels definitely more safer & stabler than myvi. but i felt the steering wheel quite *stiff* lah, compared to my previous car. but overall i'd say its quite a nice car smile.gif.

im facing this stupid funny sound in the front of my car (idk where) when cornering. When im making a turn, and halfway through the turn with my steering wheel steered left or right, if there's a small bump on the road, the front of my car got this hollow vibrating thing, as if like something's loose or what. i asked the sc to check, they said nothing's wrong with the car. quite hard to describe, but anyone facing the same problem?

The FL only contains cosmetic changes and feature additions, mechanically it should be the same as the original so actually anyone of us can tell you how it drives nod.gif

i experience that same 'hollow vibrating' sound also. i send to mechanic, they check and said got no problem, he even test drive my car (but the sound didn't come out when he drove it  wink.gif )
and another problem is the squeeky sound from the break in the morning when i reversing my car. my dad said 'aiyah, is normal wan la' and he said no need to fix it. is it alright not to fix the break squeeky sound? will it cause more problem to my car later?
*
in the SC i asked them to check too. they checked and did test drive but found no problem. the squeeky sound, does it sound like as if your brakes are wet?

I always noticed the 'squeeky' sound on the drum brakes in the early morning. But it will disappear immediately after few minutes  smile.gif
Now I treat it as normal because it might happen due to morning mist  nod.gif

Come to think of it, yeah i experience that in the morning too. And the hollow vibrating sound, none of my friends are facing the problem ( but not sure if they understand what i meant ). Would go back to the SC when im free to see if they can fix it or not.

Was rushing back home just now, speeding along the LDP highway. When i reached home, i noticed there was a burning rubber smell outside my car. Is it the brakes? Or is it the tyres? Was going like 120-140, with heavy acceleration.

any sifu know what's the price for painting the whole rear bumper? it's solid white.
just now "kissed" by other car =.="

i remember i asked the shop owner @ ss19, behind the shell station corner shop, how much to respray my rear bumper. he quoted me rm160 for it IINM. not sure about other places.

was planning to install a strip of LED lights ( blue ) on my front bumper, just for decoration purposes. was wondering where i could get a cheap strip of LED lights, and was wondering how to do the wiring myself. any sifu here mind to share?

i always hear the 'aeroplane' sound when reaching speeds like 90km/h~100km/h. Sounds as if aeroplane flying. And i feel all the 'umph' in the car when it hits after 3k rpm. Awesome at 4k rpm, but not so good after that, the car doesnt really go any much faster.
