Ohh..I see. Coz I am driving an auto Saga. Can feel the power loss even driving through normal road. So just wanna see whether does manual owners suffer the same problem too.

Dear all BLM members, my car has been one of the first batch of BLM which came out in March 2008. My car has been covered for 29000 km till now and I've been to SC for service every 10k. Problem is, starting from 9000km, there's been this kind of rattling metal sound appearing from time to time (Sometimes got sometimes it doesnt appear).

The sound is extremely irritating. And I've sent it to SC for checking twice d. And in both occasion, the car just didnt produce the sound when the mechanics drive the car for a round!!! Only after when i drive the sound appear again! The first time I thought it was IAFM fault, so the SC was kind to replace the IAFM in my 10000 km service. Then the noise continues to appear. The car was sent 2nd time for checking and the mechanics just tell me that the exhaust was loose and they just tight back the exhaust pipe. The problem until now still exist and I've been tired of going to SC cuz it's been so wasting my time. Can any 1 tell me what's wrong with my car?

noob here, what is clean throttle body ? i never do before..

Dear all, my car mileage is approaching 30k. Any of you guys till go back 2 Proton SC ? May i know how much it cost for this 30k service ? What they change this time ?

bro having the same exact issue
its like something is loose
i had it since they replaced the iafm module
then i open up the engine cover to check  - found out that the screws they use to cover the iafm is loose - so the air intake module rattles (moves)
need to replace all the screws
i ask the sc to replace it they say proton dont give them screws only provide iafm
one of the mechanic kind enough used a heat resistant circular rubber (dunno use at which part of car) and help me cucuk in between the gap
at least now dont have that weird sound any longer

Some of my mates done @ 20k ... some @ 40k .. wa like tat very inconsistent wo...  Can you provide us the excel file so that we can download ? Or you can upload somewhere else for us ? everything rm300? or gotta plus normal service and clean throttle body sumore? how come so expensive 1? service in proton's service center isit?

Btw, I heard comments from my friends that servicing your car at dealer's service center such as perodua, proton, honda, toyota... is very expensive and it's better to just service in those normal bengkel since the service they provide is similiar, but much cheaper. Is that true? Is servicing the car at normal bengkel fine to go with?

Just out of curiosity, does manual Saga owners feel a significant power loss when the air-con compressor kicks in even if you floor the accelerator?

use thinner to wipe the silver lining, it will come off. Me and another member did it and the black trim looks so much better.
