Seriously, Hokkien may have inherited many of the pronunciation from the Han dynasty, but so have the other dialect groups. Cantonese and Hakka have more than 4 tones (7 and 6, respectively) and both share many similar pronunciation with Korean and Japanese. I'm quite sure that none of the dialects is exactly the same as the ancient language spoken in China during the Han dynasty, although it's impossible to prove either way. Even the language spoken during the Tang dynasty is not similar to the language spoken by any dialect groups now.
