In some cases, people chose character names that don’t represent their usual multiplayer nicknames, as they were unaware of how the character names were being used. It’s important to us that everyone is represented by a name of their choosing in their multiplayer games, ladders, and on the forums and community site. In addition, beyond this initial free name change, we’ll be launching a service similar to the one we offer for World of Warcraft which will allow additional character name changes for a fee. We'll announce more details on how the free name change and additional paid character name changes will be implemented in the near future. http://sea.battle.net/sc2/en/blog/45237#blogAll StarCraft II accounts have been granted one free name change. If you'd like to change your character name, log in to Account Management and choose your StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty game license. On your game license screen a "Character Name Change" button at the bottom will initiate the request. After confirming that you'd like to change your character name, simply log in to StarCraft II and you'll be prompted to select a new one. Please be sure to use this name change wisely. some people like me, whos nickname consist of numbers are unable to pick our nicks, so we use our real name. but after playing multiplayer, we feel its best not to use our real name.

USD18? I forgot the price for it on WoW.  Hope we don't start seeing 4v4 team and the 4 names look almost alike but with only 1 character different. But then its not much of a problem here since we're so used to calling attack colour name. |
