Ya, I would also think that 1k plus is the reasonable price.

Below is my own estimation

The weight of the wood required is about =0.28m3x900 kg/m3 = 252kg

Even solid wood is used, material price is but RM1000 the most.

Transportation cost is say RM200

Assuming that the work could be done in 2 days and the wages per day is RM200=> RM200x2=RM400

Add 30% profit = RM480

Total Cost =RM1000+RM200+RM400+RM480=RM2080

(However, if there is other complication like cutting of tiles and others. The cost would go up)

hmm, not so easy to diy i think.... the material also cannot get. even you ask for the factory to fabricate this thing for ur own install ... you end up pay more ...y? because u will spoil the wood, then have to reorder, then you may spoilt your floor tiles/wall/ceiling (extra costs), then have to pay for the professional to do the job for you.... think before you do!!

last week, went to my unit and seems the divider is already up )

no le.. initially it comes with that 'steel' (behind the divider) where we will be taking that out soon )
the quotation for this divider (Rm 1500) which i think it is reasonable (for the glass panel, it cost us around 1 K .. so additional rm 500 should be good  )

maybe the price is different if there are lot more of renovation being done )

u take a close up photo then maybe we can shed some lights leh.....

i also not sure it took how long for the installation but contractor told me it is a quick job ) within a day or two the most...
