Recently Uncle Elison sues google over JVM implementation in Andoid(Dalvik VM). There are several specific patents stated in suit document, most of them is around DalvikVM. Here the detail

Apparently, suing over IP rights infringement won't really cover 'open-source, i.e, royalty free', no?
