Just hear the news that a Malaysian overclocker broke the world record while overclocking at PC Fair II held from August 6 to August 8. http://www.hardwarezone.com.my/news/view.php?id=16951&cid=5

Except the CPU, there is no other information about this rig. Does anyone know the detailed spec of this rig?

hmm...this is a bit too much.
allow me to clarify here (to avoid misunderstanding), the 20k pcmark05 score actually is not some kind of big achievement.
one equipped with good hardisk , gc and cpu could easily score that under normal circumstance ( eg. air cooling oc)
We are considered luckily as the record was set low hence it could be plunked easily. notworthy.gif
Same goes to 6GHz, the CPU itself is good enough hence it could be raised easily to high frequency range.
Skills didn't help much in both cases, to be franked.

Again just to highlight, the whole demonstration is to showoff some rarely seen overclocking methods as well as introducing some basic idea of overclocking.
Breaking record is a plus, but we're considered lucky as mentioned earlier.

Last but not least, thanks a million to the organizer for the invitation as well as hardware preparation.
It's indeed fun & fruitful experience. biggrin.gif
