STATUS: CASE RESOLVED

- Had a meet up at 10.30pm in front of owner's house.
- Nobody got hurt (physically), maybe owner ego hurt.
- Had a very decent conversation with the owner... for the most part.
- Dog owner had to let the dog go after being confronted with the facts.
- Dog cowered in fear even when owner bent down to set the dog free (nullifying all his excuses of "I love the dog what")
- When told to put the dog outside, owner picked the dog up by the skin of the back!
- Had the dog sent to my relative's house on 16 August 2010
- MDDB (Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better) picked up the dog at 4.30pm 17 August 2010
- Dog will be sent to clinic to be neutered.
- Adoption campaign in September 2010.

Summary:
Thanks to all of you, especially VJ KRISH, for being there and handling the situation the way it was.
Most importantly nobody was hurt in any fights and the dog is safe.
When we are faced with a situation where an innocent life is suffering, there is nothing wrong in helping.
Many can debate on whether it's right or wrong to do so, in the end nothing is accomplished by this.

WE CAN'T SAVE THEM ALL, BUT WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE ONES WE SAVE

Stupid motherf---ing owner...
- ties the dog in the hot sun and in the rain
- throws flower pots at the dog until the pot smashes
- picks up the dog by the skin and slams it on the ground
- picks up the dog by the neck and slams it on the wall
- very little food given
- no water (other ppl who take pity gives the water to the dog)
- beats dog with a SPADE

When other people want to confront him the stupid man goes into the house to hide.

At 1 AM in the MORNING he was beating the dog and the dog was crying.
Ran back in the house when another neighbour turned on the spotlight. (Coward)

SPCA has gone to the house to question the man but never in.
Somebody pls take action!

Don't assume and talk big...
And worst - generalize that all Malaysians are like that..

Anyway, I'm one of those helping to give the dog food and water when nothing is there.
Have contacted SPCA repeatedly but the can only do so much cause the man is avoiding the matter.
SPCA says that they have no authority to come and take the dog away...

I've got three of my own. I won't be able to look after another...

I won't be in the area for a while... so feeling quite helpless at the moment. If anyone can do something don't waste time.

Pls feel free to go ahead with your plans. I won't be around for around a week so I won't be able to do much. As long as it is in the dog's best interest and whatever you guys do do not cause more damage then good...

To answer the question on the man's background.. I believe he has a wife and a child (son I think).. he has two maids also. Always hiding inside...

Just wanted to bring an awareness to the situation so if you live nearby or in the area... you can help in your own way.

Have got some friends to take video but everytime fail because the man run inside to hide. Even the dog got more guts than him.

Since you mentioned.. behind the house got 2 more dogs.
Dunno wat is the condition because cannot see.

All this is for your awareness. If you think you can help the poor dog in anyway... pls take it upon yourself to do so.
The dog is young and is a cheerful dog. It's in the wrong place and with the wrong person. Poor thing...

Mr. Tong Sampah is an owner of a chicken rice shop. I'll try to source out the name of the shop and post it for you guys... this man drives a white van.

I cannot tahan wei... sometimes he use a SPADE to whack the dog.

There is a meet up organized on the 22 August 2010 , 10am...

This thread is started so that everyone is aware of the situation this poor creature is in.

It is not as simple as letting the dog roam free.. because the dog is loyal and will come to back this 'home'.

Once the owner came back late after midnight and the dog untied and sitting outside the gate waiting.

THEN THE OWNER WHACK AND BANG THE DOG!

Done.. SPCA has attempted to question the man several times but he is either not in or hiding in the house not answering.

It's unfortunate because SPCA says they do not have the legal authority to just take the dog away.

This man comes back just after 6 in a white Toyota van. There's only one maid, one of the neighbours told me. In fact, the neighbours have also called the SPCA. The dog in front gets the most whacking. The least is three times a day. The back dogs are also treated badly but not as often as the one in front because the man don't see the back dogs as much.

For those of you who say I'm doing nothing. We went so many times. The maid also don't want to come out. If you can form a party, it will be better. Hopefully somebody is willing to take the dog. I can't because I've got 3 dogs and 10 cats... all which are rescued from some predicament. Feel free to come to my place to see...

I'll give you the SPCA contact which we have called numerous times. The SPCA inspector , Ms. Cunira - 03 425 35132. Complains were made under the name "Linda". You can check out how many times we have called.

I'm making myself available to meet up at the *******'s house. I'm free after 8pm on weekdays and free on weekends. Do let me know when anyone can gather.

FYI.. this man have been abusing the dog ever since he got it 8 months ago!

Wow.. all kinds of low mentality people... trying to be smart but end up being an @ss.
Why don't YOU investigate properly before you open your mouth?

1. The dog is tied at the gate permanently. In the hot sun and in the rain. So it is forced to shit at the same spot everytime! (And get beating for that too)
2. The dogs in the back are also in bad condition but do not get it as bad as the front one.
3. It is not justified when you throw POTS, SLAM the dog on the ground, WHACK the dog against the WALL, hit it with a SPADE... no matter what the dog did.

I'll try to contact Menara Star and TV3 about this tomorrow...
