Hi, I'm currently on a 7-day trial of WoW (going to purchase my time card after my exams next month!) and I made a human paladin character which is now Lvl 9. I'm sort of stuck in the Elwynn Forest area (in terms of doing quests) and everytime I go out to do quests, I will die due to being overwhelmed by monsters. Most of the quest guides recommend me going in groups but there are very little people at where I am and they're not-very-friendly Lvl. 80 guys riding Mek-gineer motorcycles. Any friendly Malaysians here would like to help a newbie out?

1 advice for you that might be a little useful if you want to level fast avoid any quest that requires you to search for a party because it will take long and most prob you need to die a few times best to just stick to quest that are solo able to level faster.

I'm in FM Alliance. But recently migrated to Bart Horde. can't tahan FM-A kena bully 24/7 lol. BG lose, world pvp 1v10, level also hard = =```

The only game I got killed in the newbie zone repeatedly is final fantasy online and i quit 1 hour after trying (fully paid for 1 month but meh)

donno about thaurissan, but FM... Redridge almost 24/7 got rogues genociding the area, and gadgetzan is like "u come, u die" place for alliance... lots of similar levels horde around u, which is ok since i'm a mage and rxpe them, but i dont understand why there're so many level 80s there 1shotting us = =``

basically not just newbie zone

they kill in goldshire (mostly festive seasons), they kill in redridge, they kill in darkshire, they kill in westfall, and places close to horde territory (like south shore) would technically inaccessible due to mass killing; most of them would kill anything that has red text displaying on top of his head

but being ganked by hordes of hordes isn't a bad thing after all. you might QQ over them putting camp fire on your body, sit down and wait for you to rez, but you get to learn how to survive/ counter gank in such unexpected situations with whatever abilities you have instead of relying on others.

There seems to be lots of Horde players in Goldshire at the moment. They rarely come at day, usually at night. And since I haven't reached Lvl. 10 yet, I don't think so I can PvP.. right? Anyway I was just standing still when this purple beam of light or whatever was emitted form a Horde player straight into me. The purple beam followed me everywhere and was only cut off when I went upstairs of the Goldshire inn. What is this?

well my experience as a horde in frostmourne is that alliance are the one ganking. i guess we all experience the same thing on either sides.

Remember there's a Warcraft novel called Cycle of Hatred? that's what happening now in FM LOL. I kena screw hard when my level is low, then when i'm 70+ 80, I gather my grudge and release my vengeance on the horde... then vice versa.

ya i see usually ally attack horde first in FM, im a care-bear so I'll usually just watch while both of them beat the crap out of each other.

But I've just transferred to JB and WG there is like gg... horde win everytime, ally with 20 stack tenacity, but due to the number of horde we still win. Free wg wins achieve, after 100 wins maybe i'll go back FM lol

Well even on barth.. well there is not much ganking on that server..from what I have seen. But there was someone who said horde basically have no skill and they rush.. I guess he needs to roll a horde on barth and pvp and see allies coming with 2 dps and 3 healers and ganking you.. its fun.. really fun..

I remember back in the day my friend and i had a great idea, we would roll allies on thaurisian..what an idea... its funny.. He rolled a gnome lock and I rolled a dwarf SP. The funniest thing in strangletorn was that we were leveling..and killing mobs and we were level 40 so i just got shadow form. 2 rogues and 2 priests tried to gank us.. we managed to kill all of them.. then a level 80 huntard comes and kills us and ganks us.. funny... but thats taurissian, will never ever roll an ally there.. horde skill = 0 over there..

the truth is... 90% is thar for PvE...

i am also Horde player in FM, just these few months horde only come back to strengthen in pvp wise, 2-3 years back horde always kena pwn kao kao 1.....we go everywhere sure got ally ganking horde. Bg/WG 80% we will win for now, but same thing back to 2-3 years ago, u will really fed up of going in bg, took u like more than 15min to q, then end up u will facing premade groups...

mostly because of barthilas horde I think haha. everywhere see shadowmourne = =``` but yeah i'm enjoying PVPing in horde. much more co-ordinated and capable.

I think you are confused bro.. i honestly feel allies are more coordinated for pvp.. unless you premade.. Allies seem to be much better when it comes to bg's as they have lots of healers for backup.
