Maybe so, I guess it would depend on the quality and material as well... I got quote for kitchen cabinet only, total length (on the floor, overhead, etc, for type D1) about 35feet at RM7k. not include the stove, hood, sink etc.. laminated type lah with some pressure laminate top (I think)..

When we request for defect fixing, we need to give them our house key. Not sure how safe is that. It's typical procedure but I am worry that someone might duplicate the key.
*
I gave the guy a copy of the keys on the first day I took the keys. easier for me to report anything just by email and they can come and work on it. I guess, later, if you're concerned you can change the main door locks. That's what I usually do anyway.

In yesterday news, Naza TTDI MD said that there would be 18 launches in TTDI Grove in Kajang, TTDI Alam Impian in Shah Alam, TTDI Dualis in Puchong and a 35-storey tower on Jalan Tun Razak in Kuala Lumpur for 2011! At least 3-4 new launches in each area then. If TTDI is going with this rate, TTDI AI will be fully developed within 5 years! Something to cheer about for TTDI AI:)

i wish i can be there. will not be around until sunday. hope u can share with us the quotation u get smile.gif. i am planing to have a plaster ceiling but a simple one will do. maybe L box at hall , plain plaster at dining & entrance & no cornice as well.. current contractor around TtdiAI quoted for rm3800 which i think way too expensive for this design..

anyway, there will be no re-piping works needed in my case. just a minor wiring for my plaster ceiling and others will be the kitchen cabinet & wordrobe ..not sure i still need to apply permit that cost rm2000 deposit for reno.. any advice?

sure, will share the quotation with you once I get it. Am doing plaster for the entrance (level with beam), living room (all 4 sides box up) and dining area also (center rectangle box down). RM3800 for what you mentioned sounded quite ex. Also need 3 extra aircon points, lightings etc.... Siong ah.... unfortunately think we need to pay the RM2k deposit as long as got kitchen reno, grill installation etc....

Hi forumers...

Where is exact location of Alam Impian next phase ?

http://www.wikimapia.org/#lat=3.0349477&lo...29&z=16&l=0&m=b

Is it at the right side of Spira? Or at north side of Viola?

From what I heard during Viola's launch, it's the one north-east of Viola (directly north is school area). I could be wrong.

Apply permit with 2k deposit in where? TTDI?

When I asked about installing grill and kitchen cabinets during VC, the TTDI guy said I needed to apply for permit from TTDI for those but 2k is not mentioned... Why do we need to deposit? We are doing them in our house....

Viola completion will be roughly the end of this year since TTDI started building them in 2010. For the next phase, it will take 2 years as nothing started so far.

Went there earlier afternoon. Met with the reno ppl they are installing the grill at one of the houses at jalan 120. They offered RM3100 to install the grills full house. Simple design, white grills. Ok or not?

Now thinking about the kitchen. Do you think RM6k is too much?

Any ideas?

Hi Jeghui,

Mind if you can give me your contact for grille? I was quoted 4.3k for simple white grills the whole house except the court yard in the middle.

Many thanks
