Hi guys. last night I just spent the night there.. It was quite and peaceful. hehehe.. best lah.

I've installed most of the lights yesterday (yes on my own). today I'm gonna put up the fans. I'm just taking my time here doing things at my pace. no rush lah.

last night I notice some strange sound, don't know where it's coming from. sounds like and engine/machine. it's very quite here so small sound can be notice quickly. I'm guessing it must the the sound of the plant next to our neighborhood, but when I went out and check, ermm.. not really.. it could be the acoustics effect, where you cant hear things directly but you may hear it after the sound reflected.. one thing for sure, I don't think it's ghosts lah.. tongue.gif

I changed my mind about having the grills on the front side of the house. I'm thinking to put the grills only at the back/kitchen area where it's exposed and near to the fence. I like it the way it is. It's breezy here too if you open the front sliding door and and the kitchen door. Wahh so nice..

the street lights, on the way to Alam Impian not turned on yet. however the streetlights inside Spira, few on them are on already. one being near my house.

I really like the house here and I glad I bought it..

I hope you like you house too. I wonder who will be my immediate neighbors..? no 22 & 26 jln 35/118? whoever you are, I hope to see you soon!

Alright, thats my 'report' for now. Im off to the workshop I had a flat tire last night exploring the road around kemuning/jln kebun area. luckily I have all the tools with me.

Hi. I'm the idiot who queued up for 16 hours (Sat 6 PM - Sun 10 AM) for the Viola phase. When I went there on Saturday and saw there were already 10 people I just decided to start queuing myself. Since I live in Ampang currently, going back home and coming back later would have been more of a torture to me than sitting on my butt for umpteen hours..  smile.gif

Anyway, I did not want to hire the guys that were available as I was not confident at the time whether they would be there next morning (on the whole, I found they kept their words to the other buyers, except for one buyer who came really late next morning even though the agreement was for him to come at 8).

I was willing to do this because, like you, I have been looking to buy a house for a long time and found TTDI Alam Impian to be the best development so far (that I could afford) and it ticked all my required boxes. In addition, I also wanted to be able to select the unit of my choice, i.e. in front of park, NSEW facing (whatever your preference), etc. So, personally, I decided that utilizing several hours on a weekend to get the house that I have been waiting for for years is no big deal. It's not like I have anything else to do and on normal days, those hours would be wasted anyway by me sleeping, going window shopping at some mall, etc....  smile.gif

So my advise to you, if you really feel this development is what you have been waiting and saving for, is to just do it. As others have advised, you don't need to queue as early as me as from what I noted also, if you come on Sunday itself (6-8 am) it should be ok (although this is not a guarantee). Of course, you also have the choice to hire those Indian workers to queue for you as well.

You're lucky as you can determine yourself whether you get your 'dream' home or not. Not many people have that opportunity.
*
Im willing to queue one day before.will check in nearby hotel to rotate with hubby.will do the rotation to get the house as well take care the kid.hopefully we get the hse. rclxub.gif

I never like buying house by queuing as
it's some bloody practice from developer
to create the buzz. I&p and ttdi seem to
be doing that very often. Personally, I feel
ballot is best. No need to waste time. I guess
advantage on queuing is that u will
never drop your unit even u dun like certain
criterias.

So it is your car and house I usually see whenever I go to my house:) My house is in Jln PA 121.
Thanks for sharing your nigh-out experience in Spira. I was wanting to do it but worried about security. Now I know that everything seems ok and I may take my night-out after finished installing lights. See you then....

Went there earlier afternoon. Met with the reno ppl they are installing the grill at one of the houses at jalan 120. They offered RM3100 to install the grills full house. Simple design, white grills. Ok or not?

Now thinking about the kitchen. Do you think RM6k is too much?

Any ideas?

I paid RM 9 psf for window and RM 10 psf for door with mild-steel horizontal square bar in white. Could get with RM 8 if you don't get skirting. Need to add RM 2.5 for powder coating. I guess the price is reasonable. Need to wait 1-2 weeks.
I paid RM 7500 for melamine kitchen cabinet, about 19 ft. Order from unity design. Need to wait one month.

naing, hehehe. yes blue car with gates & doors always open, welcoming neighbors who wants to stop by and say hi. Please do. I put a lot of faith into the guards here. they're nepalese and very friendly. and quite protective, and brave too.

I was chatting with Don, and sudden there door was slammed shut, not so loud la, becos of wind, but made some sound and he volunteer to check it out, with a rotan on his shoulder. hehehe..

hi anti_gaara, yes my house facing west. petang quite panas lah. large window area. I think have to tint the front windows main bedroom and sliding door.

termite control? never thought of that before. do we need to? Need to check with TTDI if they already did that. kelapa sawit area quite prone to termite attack last I heard. my friends also mention most developer already include termite protection, but it might last only 5 years.. like I mention, need to check with TTDI first lah.

nyamuk bnyk itu biasa... belakang tu ada ladang kan?

termite control wajib for all houses i think... the land AI is sitting on used to be agricultural land. so surely got byk termites.

I too have faith with the guards. call me daring but i dont plan to put grills on the masterbedroom. kacau scenery lah. heheh.

my house facing south, prolly not gonna use tint.

bro anything from developer let us know else well k? smile.gif

Hi pk, I don't have good advise on schools, but anyway, I used google earth to check nearby school and I attached here the results I find. There's small yellow line near "alam Impian" which is about 200m just for reference.

I hope this helps

Hi,

I'm new here, so wana ask guideline from all the sifus here.. thumbup.gif

What as the difference between I&P Alam Impian and TTDI Alam Impian other than it's being constructed by difference developer?

Both also gated and guarded?

Thanks~! smile.gif

YOu should read from the first page of the thread...but anyway...I&P is the master developer of Alam Impian and TTDI bought this piece of land from them...

Property wise, both are not fully G&G. But ALam Impian TTDI offered fenced up neighbourhood (about 150 house per single entry) and the perimeter is fenced up amd guard house is built. Still individual title.

I&P is like Subang, Kinrara, etc, where people forcefully close up certain road to make it single access, even though there might be single entry via car, but most area are not fenced up....

Hi jeghui, I'm new to this group, for the grille price doesn't RM 3100 sound expensive for simple white grille... maybe can look around klang area to get price comparison...

The reno ppl is engage by the owner or one reno comp who already pow the area.... it happen to other area which one reno comp controlling the whole area, its consider their territory which other contractor cannot enter their territory.
