gentleman hunter?

let me tell you a story. a story about a mad lad who fancied himself as a refined hunter, who found himself in the company of "barbarian" hunters. he too drank tea, while we downed grog after grog. now this mad lad had what he called "principles". he would cap rather than kill, he would not hurt small appy, he would be the meekest of hunters. he was the village idiot, the joker, our jester.

come one fine day, someone laid upon this mad lad's hands...an ls. the raw thirst for blood suddenly rushed into his veins and pulsated with such an urgent lust to kill that this mad lad annihilated the monster population in d. island.

the sick twisted companion who persuaded this mad lad to give ls a go suddenly saw the demented repressed desire in mad lad and thought.....what will our "refined hunter" do when he lays his hands on the most powerful weapon in the land? so...the unnamed companion nudged mad lad to use gs.

the day mad lad took up gs was the darkest, bleakest day in the history of Monster Hunter land. till today, the story of what transpired that afternoon is whispered in fear amongst tavern grog drinkers. mad lad's real name, which we hunters don't say out loud, still strikes fear in our hearts as we recall the peace that once reigned the Monster Hunter land.

we don't talk about what happened, we can't. the power that was shown that day still haunts us. we are scorched by the flame of mad lad's wrath, we are rendered immobile by his sheer lunacy.

some think its old wives tale, some think its just a legend, a myth. but i can vouch its legitimacy, for my dear hunters, i was one of the four who was present on the day eclipse fell over Monster Hunter land.

and as a result, whenever a hunter saunters into our tavern and orders tea....we boycott.
