The Egreat EG-S1A uses Sigma 8655 chipset



The size is about two stacked 3.5" HDD. No internal HDD. No internal fan

Summary of confirmed S1A HD Audio capability

-Bitstream DTS-HD MA 5.1 and 7.1
-Bitstream DTS-HD MA 5.1 96kHz/24bits
-Bitstream Dolby TrueHD 5.1 and 7.1 96kHz (Chris Botti)

From playback of BD BDMW, BD ISO and MKV file with embedded HD audio track

File Playback
-No BD menu
-BD movie and concert titles load correctly from the start.
-During BD file playback can use S1A Menu to select chapter/audio/subtitle – (a slight pause when switching)
-Next/Previous button selects the next file in your folder instead of Next chapter (needs to be fixed)
-DVD ISO playback with DVD menu
-No RMVB playback
-Encounter audio out of sync during mkv playback but fixed when re-select that audio track

Online Features
-YouTube HD (1280x720) works
-Movie streaming works (chinese movies and educational stuff)
-Movie download works (We think this is Xunlei - tons of chinese and english movies in rmvb and avi format). Download starts but speed in too slow even for UniFi 10mbps.

Network Feature
-Samba works - Only streaming MKV files supported. BDMW and BD.ISO S1A will say 'Can Not Play File'
-Can not connect to our LevelOne NAS using NFS

BD-ROM Support (connected via S1A external SATA port)
-Does not load original BD
-Uncle Ho BD/DVD does not load directly. Need to open BDMV/VOB folders

What you means with No Internal HDD? No place to put HDD inside?

Normally first wife all can do wan..........like poking, make our kid, cook our meal, clean up the mess ( after heavy poking session ) in fact do every things! But also unfortunately also becum the home minister especially becum the finance minister! And of cause being the first wife we tend to spend more on her! But some elite can afford to spend more on mistress. Peasant have to 'curi makan' 'budget mistress'!!

I suppose just like the Dune Prime all can do.....well almost all can do apart from the occasional hiccup ( like sometime 'first wife' don't allow u to poke wan! ) So I suppose due to this Dune will be a 'value for money' media player.

So the question is 'HOW MUCH IS THIS 'MISTRESS'???

No luck setting up NFS yet

Seems like you are thinking of getting a wife rather than a mistress

Solution = get a second wife (instead of a china gal)
