Lower end nikon dslr doesn't come with in body focusing motor. Isn't most newer lens hv built in motor inside the lens right?
What are the few popular lens that's unable to be used in lower end body? Mind to enlighten me?
Thanks.

Thanks celciuz. Those are just a few prime lens, and there's G version of it isn't it ?
I m considering the new 3100 as i want something light, although i would love to hv the top lcd panel of D90 and better control. Hehe.
Wait patiently for 3100.

How do u tell nikon lens by their names ? AF-S, G, D, Ai-S and so on? Which has built in focus motor? Added on September 27, 2010, 8:32 pmQUOTE(celciuz @ Sep 27 2010, 08:27 PM) Sure, there's G version. But take for example the price gap. 50mm f/1.4 Roughly RM1k versus RM1.8k. 85mm, RM4k to about RM4.6k. Oh ya..never realized that. Thanks for pointing out. Might be worth while to hv in body focusing motor huh ? This post has been edited by ahsam1212: Sep 27 2010, 08:32 PM

Anyone tried the high ISO performance of D3100 ? Do u think it would be better than D90 as it has newer sensor, and better processor?

How much is the street price for sb600? Does a camera body recognize the flash, or the other way round? Is there such problem, say, new 3100 pair with sb600 and they don't really work out? I m asking this bcoz in nissin website, it says that the flash's firmware can be updated when it is not compatible with newer camera.
