You mean Nikkor 18-105mm ?
*
Yeah, the kit lens for D90, it's quite good seriously, 18-200 also almost same like 18-105, just with the longer reach..

This 1 seems to be the same as eneloop but much higher rated capacity, anybody tried this brand b4? How's the performance, btw the Eneloop is the white colour 2000mA 1 right?

hi guys!! i'm going to Muse concert next month  brows.gif
going to borrow my fren's D5000..suggestion for good lense to use in concert?? it is indoor concert & i'm quite far from the stage.
need suggestion as this is my first time goin to concert. & the lense i want to rent onli coz use only for the concert.. biggrin.gif
*
You probably need at least 300mm F/2.8 lens brows.gif , i doubt 70-200 F/2.8 will be long enough for the reach. Anyway I thought concert cannot bring camera gears in?

Wow, judging by the location, I bet the distance is at least 50meters from the stage. Can drop the idea of taking pictures

got test ?

not bad . i thought it will be priced around 1.7k or 1.8k

no wonder so many ppl selling 55-200  brows.gif
*
If can wait a little more i suggest waiting for the Tamron 70-300 USD VC, those folks over at dpreview are giving excellent rating on the lens, it should cost only a little more than the 55-300.. somemore it can be used on FX body brows.gif

*
Hehe, probably he likes zoom more.. I also get 70-200 instead of 85mm... for me, if i get 85mm only for potraiture, nothing more but 70-200 can use for events and everything else thumbup.gif

U sure the 50mm not metal or not o?? Y felt so heavy when mounted on my body? felt so solid compared to Nikon 50mm 1.4G, sooo plastic....!!
*
It's not metal, as it doesn't even feel like my previous 80-200 F/2.8.. Please don't compare it with the cheapo 50mm F/1.4 from Nikon, compare to 24-70 F/2.8, 70-200 F/2.8, 17-55 F/2.8 and other N coat lens then u will know what metal feels like smile.gif ... Sigma confirm is not metal as I also bought one the other day doh.gif

It is good only because Nikon doesn't have a good 50mm to start with. If Canon people would be looking at the 50mm f/1.2L already lo...
*
Don't forget the price of the Canon F/1.2L =.="" , wonder why Nikon doesn't produce a kick ass 50mm blink.gif
