^ Depends the condition... I rarely go above 1/100s indoors with my 50mm f/1.8D. Plus the 50mm f1.8D is soft at f/1.8. Not quite sure about the 35mm.

i'm a little confuse here (newbie some more)... surveying 50mm f/1.8D in the garage sales section and now i'm getting confused...

some people said it's only autofocus on autofocus body??? i read somewhere that D lenses will do autofocus too... or did i get it wrong??? or i missed something in the product description perhaps???

so, my question is will Nikon 50mm f/1.8D lens do autofocus on D3000 body??

so all in all, average functions they dont differ that much except the slow recycle time on Di622... maybe i got to try myself and see if it'll suitable for me...

Anyone noes what is the price for 2nd hand 35mm 1.8f? I'm eager top get 1, but running low on budget. Coz I own a D5000 which does not have AF motor, so I dun have much lens choices. In da prime lens range, 35mm is 1 of da cheapest adi, compare to 50mm. So anyone noes da price n any shops selling 2nd hand lens to recommend?

Try my friend's shop in Dataran Pahlawan, and maybe FT Zone in Melaka Mall. The rest are pretty much pricey and no point looking at.

Lower end nikon dslr doesn't come with in body focusing motor. Isn't most newer lens hv built in motor inside the lens right?

What are the few popular lens that's unable to be used in lower end body? Mind to enlighten me?

Go for the D3100 la, excellent ISO performance, new proc, 1080p video shooting. 
All these for RM1.8k to RM1.9k

The Canon 50mm f1.8 may be cheap... but definitely not as good.

no need raw la.. if all shoot raw, later only correct it.. when u will improve and learn something?
