Historically, Apple either phase out the old models or offer the old model at a lower capacity. So my guess is that they will introduce the new model and deplete the stock for the old model before doing so. But since Malaysia is the dumping ground of old stocks, these older iPad models may linger much longer in the market before the new model arrives. Looking at pricetags Machines and MacStudio offers for their old stock/display models, they are discounter between RM200-300.
