May I know what iPad 3G data plan u use? Digi or Maxis? Which plan? And Why?

Use digi prepaid Internet, cut it in micro sim size. Rm2 a day. So Rm60 equal to 30 days. I use it and realize it can last around 32-34 days with rm 60. Besides, you can remain unsubscribed for up to 90 days. Reload, just like normal reload, buy normal prepaid 10, 30, 60. u enjoy unlimited Internet access with 500 mb a day quota. So it is roughly equal to 15G data with rm60 a month

Maxis sucks on its iPad data plan.

Don't buy. I destroy mine. It is really insensative If ur iPad has screen protector.

If u really need one. You can DIY. get a conductive foam (u can get it from usual comp component packaging), and tuck a small pcs of it into emptied pen body. U can google for video instruct.

Finger is still my preference, I purchased pogo and tot it gonna help when using brushes/sketch book app (itouch and iPad). However, pogo disappointed me. Finger gives you more flexibility. Pogo has bulky point head, which is inaccurate to capture your sketch than ur finger do.

Fly over to Singapore with firefly is cheaper than courier services send from Singapore. At least, no uncertainty. Even can get more unit for sales.

Added on August 16, 2010, 5:05 pmYes you should, prepaid or post paid the speed/stability is same. Both use the so called digi 3G turbo. It gives you more flex.and you can remain unsubscribe fore. 90 days. This is especially useful when you are out of country or arenot using ur pad for 1 or 2 month.somemore no tax. Reload is simple , I always buy rm30 reload. It could last for 17 days actually. So rm60 can last me more than a month.

It only cost rm25 to purchase the sim. It will last for 5 days if Im not mistaken, reload it after that.

Added on August 16, 2010, 5:26 pm How long you hav subscribe for ur post paid digi? I think they hav cooling off period, so you can cancel your purchase.

There is 7-day trial/refund for plan without modem. I presume you don't take the modem. So you can cancel. Tell them you are unsatisfy with it's stability, always drop.

iBook or stanza for PDF, keynote for pp slides.

I prefer brushes over sketchbook. Sketchbook a bit lagging.

i prefer typing. - the best note taking app = Noterize - full of useful functions. combination of typing and writing options

how much is dagi? and where can i get it?

It seems to me iPad is more on media consumption, entertainment and communication potable platform. However, it's business application, although limited, is undeniable. I agree it is a toy, but it can be book, education material, library, productivity tools, magazine, spend-time-with-ur-kids tools, etc. Touch screen tool like iPad has it's limitation, so do keyboard based platform. Not necessary to be so skeptical. Enjoy your iPad... Me myself read alot with the pad. And I found kids app is so useful to engage with kids.

I do. I work for mutual Fund comp, and they have bloomberg pro. So they provide free monthly bloomberg mag via zinio. And I also downloaded few free copies of their mags.

Sort of disappointed. It's lagging. I prefer those standalone mag apps like time mag, Wired, etc..more interactive.

For maxis I have no idea, but digi is plug n play. For reload, just use phone to type certain procedure with prepaid card no.

Yup, ipad is unlocked, except japan version. Use digi limited edition prepaid sim. Maxis plan sucks.

leave username and password empty.

done! u can use 3G again for your iPAd.
