Would u like to have your favorite magazines on your ipad? Subscribe to your mag thru an app maybe, then download your magazine straight to your ipad and read it from there? Or would u still prefer the traditional paperback magazine?

hmm, good feedback.. so the ipad version is not just a carbon copy of the print version, it also embeds videos, links and stuff.... i don't have an ipad so i haven't experienced it myself...

i guess there definitely is a market out there for paperless reading materials, it's just how you choose to present it that determines weda it will be well received or not... anyone else has comments? thanks ya! juz doin some research...

anyone bought ipad from HK? any experiences buying there?

yeah thanks for sharing... it answers my question haha... plan to ask my fren to bring back one for me, based on the online apple store price, it's slightly cheaper than SG units. wanted to know weda there's anything to look out for or to be careful about or any problems when buying from HK... thanks!

really? hehe might go there after work 2day to check it out... i guess an ipad is not something everybody uses everyday, unlikel the iphone 4, so the queue would be much less compared to when the iphone 4 was launched in Malaysia... plus users who really wanted it would have bought it from overseas by now... i myself almost made arrangements to buy one from HK until i saw the news this morning...

Weeee!! Got my ipad 16gb wifi only from midvalley machines!! Not many ppl buying but quite a lot of ppl looking.. Haha juz went there, took a card n paid straight.. If u buy there, u can get 10% off 3rd party accesorries... Not for apple accessories though.. still got stock there.. Guess the 16gb wifi version is the most popular..

haha same here, i pointed out to my fren... the picture in the star newspaper is from Machines MV... i went there yday, the purchasing room is the one with glass panel at the end of the shop... what the photo shows is just ppl checking out the display unit and ppl browsing other things in the shop, not the ipad.... if u look at the glass panel room at the top left corner of the picture, u hardly see anyone inside!

but i guess this is marketing... as long as we get our gadgets, who cares...
