Just got my iPad 16gb wifi a few days ago. Downloaded atomic web browser 99 cents - a lot better compared to safari. . I am now searching for office processing software but I cannot really find a solid version. Anyone have any recommendations?

Initially I thought only 3G model comes with GPS chip. Apparently, wifi model has it too? Google maps was able to pinpoint my position. Does this means that if I connect my iPad via mifi or wifi software on iPhone....I can actually use it as GPS?

i am currently using my ipad as a supp. device to check email and as an rss receiver. since i am just going to leave it in the office all the time.....should i

1)keep charging it (plugged in) all the time

or

2)remove the plug once it is 100% charged and then recharge again when the battery is low

which method will prolong the lifetime of the battery?

for those potential buyers who are still struggling to decide to buy wifi or 3g. read this article, old but useful....personally, i agree with him...3g model is overpriced to compensate for the wifi model low price. it's hard for apple to hit the $500 mark.

if u have an iphone, via mifi....u can get benefits in terms of having one plan for your mobile phone and utilize if for the rest of the device + don't need the hassle to cut your sim card.
