I'm certain that some of these unscrupulous 'resellers' there would attempt a rip-off such as that, but rest assured the real price for a 16gb wifi-only iPad is significantly lower than that.

yeah, u can use it wif sim card here. singapore ipad is unlocked version. u dont have to jailbreak it in order to use micro sim to online.

i think u can get it from apple reseller in singapore, epic center or other resellers depending on its availability of course

@fhfoomelaka: I do have the problem when I'm loading many tabs or when I load webpages with a lot of images, the browser (Safari) will automatically close and return to the "Homescreen" due to the lack of RAM.

@Amanda99: You can use the 3G + Wi-Fi iPad that you bought from Singapore in Malaysia without any jailbreaking/unlocking because they're not tied to any telco. Just buy the iPad (3G + Wi-Fi) from Singapore and plug-in your Maxis/Digi/Celcom Micro-SIM and you're ready to surf (provided you've got a data plan).

No one can provide you the 100% correct answer other than apple itself.
But normally a new version will be lunch after a year of the current version release date.which is next year April.

the rotation lock switch to mute switch

yes agree .. i dun see the need to change the mute switch
where now i can already activate it by holding down the - volume button.
