@mrhenree: Yes, I have experienced crashing out to the home screen when I mod.
That is why I'd prefer to have more RAM available.

I personally think that the lack of memory on the Ipad is really a bit of a flaw. That is really my only gripe.

@howtodo: Yeap, I agree with you. Maybe an even faster processor from Qualcomm like a 1.2/1.5GHz processor in dual-core or quad-core configuration. Oh well, maybe I'm just hoping for too much.

that would make our iPad almost useless... I think they will do that only on 3rd gen.. Apple didn't upgrade its product too much as it will effect sales of previous generation stock

Hmmmm.... Having problems with my headphone jack. Always says headphones, even though there's nothing plugged in and also it isn't very fitting...... Anyone knows a good place to service my iPad?

is that your headphone 3.5mm jack? or do you have case on ipad?
last time i tried to put my headphone on ipad, and it wont fit because i forget the stupid rubber case block the 3.5mm jack few mm away. XD

I personally own iPad and iPhone 3G. iPad still works fine at 10+ mb memory, but iPhone 3G would be freaking lag. Which means A4 processor does matter.

Plus, if you read most of the iPad apps, you'll find that most apps get updated due to apps crash issue.

I tested the famous 'things' and 'manage'. 'Things' first impression to me is, 'crash out to home screen' when I input my very first task.

how you know ipad consumed how many rams? got special apps can monitor?

yeah another question. supposedly ipad has 256 mb ram right? How can it be so low at a measly 10mb+ ram? bcos u are using other applications as well?

FYI, I rollback to os3 when I'm using ios4.0.1 for my iPhone. Really cannot stand it.

Anyway, iPad is my savior, running wifi at both office and home. Trying to conduct my daily mobile work activities on my iPad like push email, contacts and calendar. Both my idivices get synced together either way I input my activity.

Any microsoft exchange user around?

Kinda hardcore user here. So i need to monitor the usage.

oh, so if ram is too low u r unable to use skype?

err so i guess ram usage isnt that heavy if i dont jb it? i dont plan to jb it anyway.
