@Agito666: By default you can't transfer files from your phone to iPad because it doesn't support the OBEX File Transfer Protocol. However, there are ways/methods to go about (but I'm not sure how). I think Uncle Google is your best bet.

however, you can always do the old fashion way by emailing your files by attach them to your email. Then you can open and save the files in your iPad.

Yes you can. You can even transfer videos recorded on your iPhone 4, as well as rendered iMovie clips to your iPad as well. I did that when I was in Disneyland a few months back to clear some space on my iPhone 4. At that time, I only had the 16GB iPhone 4 so space is a constraint especially after you've done native iMovie editing on the iPhone 4. Plug in the iPad Cam Kit USB dongle to the iPad, plug the USB cable to the iPhone 4 and connect the two together, and the photos and videos inside the iPhone is recognised just as when you're connecting a USB thumb drive in, and you have the option of "sucking" the photos and videos into your iPad and clear the space on your iPhone 4. That way you can do simple- to moderately complex photo editing on the larger iPad screen. For apps to be used with the iPad to do photo editing, Beavis has more experience on that, he does that with his photos.

Who knows how do i upload photos to facebook using ipad? so far i believe none facebook application@ App Store can do that.. even paid one..

If possible, i dont want to use the "uploading photos via email" option.. look uncool yawn.gif

I'm using Photobucket, with a year subscription to upload and privilege to link to messageboard as well. I dont use Facebook that much so I wouldn't know. With the Photobucket app, I can upload, get a link and post them online on a messageboard right on the iPhone itself. The photos may be uploaded full size but I usually leave them in a spoilered window here before I get back home and re-edit them. Or just post the thumbnail link.

Hi All,

May i know if i buy the Ipad Camera Connection Kit, am i able to transfer selected pictures or all my pictures in the SD card?

Am i able to transfer selected pictures from my ipad to my iphoto (desktop) without syncing? I have over 30GB of photos so i don't want to sync.

How about email? Can i transfer selected email? How about attachments? My work is quite email heavy and recently just exceeded 20GB so i can't carry that around either =="

Many thanks in advance!

Link as in copy-pasting direct image links, yes. Getting your photos to appear on Facebook? Not too sure on that.

Yes, you can transfer selected images to your iPad. Same with video. They have to be in the format recognisable by the iPad though.

Email? No. Attachments? Depending on file types attached to the email, as long as they are readable by the iPad, yes. With the recent update, IIANM, you can assign which app to open your attachment in, for example, .xls files opening in iWork/GoodReader etc.
