QUOTE(dlcmh @ Dec 2 2010, 12:17 AM) Hope I understand your question - my suggestion is to NOT use the VLC Player app on the iPad. Thanks bro for the reply. I have been considering switching to Cinexplayer I guess now is the right time.I experienced the same thing with VLC as you did, and am now happily using the free CineXPlayer instead. CineXPlayer plays most AVI files very smoothly, and can even output video to the TV using the Apple AV cable. I recall reading somewhere that the VLC team will be issuing a fix sometime in the future, I don't have a link, unfortunately. QUOTE(ronnie @ Dec 2 2010, 12:20 AM) Bro, you better do a google search on iPad first before asking basic questions. Thanks. |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Dec 2 2010, 12:20 AM) There are 2 ways, out of the box, to play YouTube videos on the iPad.1. Play using the YouTube app 2. Play in the Mobile Safari browser. YouTube will automatically serve the HTML5 version of the video for iOS devices (which includes the iPad). I have encountered some very old video clips, however, that won't play on the iPad / iPhone / iPod Touch. I'm guessing YouTube hasn't had those clips converted for HTML5 playback. |

I noted just over the last 2 days, many new guys on this thread. I suppose most are new users. Anyway for them, the mods has a very good thread here :
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1563492 Learn all about the basics of the ipad ; if you cannot have your answer only then post here Added on December 2, 2010, 9:22 am QUOTE(DaBestOne @ Dec 2 2010, 01:35 AM) Hmm means all Msia Ipad has Model number of MB293ZP?? Your friend must have really trusted his friend . Anyway it is his negligience if he did not check up the Malaysian pricing. He can also check the actual warranty status by just keying in the serial number at this site:The story is like this, yesterday my friend bought an Ipad from one of his friends. QUOTE(bv2427 @ Dec 1 2010, 11:10 PM) My iPad has been updating, or trying to install the new firmware, for more than 3 hours now. Anyone encountered this? I download the big file ipsw file separately, coz my internet line is not that stable. I download directly at this address:http://appldnld.apple.com/iPad/061-9857.20...48_Restore.ipsw Since the size is huge (more than 500 MB, no torrent), I use a download manager to help me download. You might want to try this method. QUOTE(ronnie @ Dec 2 2010, 12:13 AM) I can safely say yes. Earlier I sent a mail to LHDN to ask this, and here is their reply:>> In the case of iPad, one simple question should be answered: >> A: Does it only have computer features? >> OR >> B: Does it also have handphone features in addition to computer features? >> >> If the answer is A, this means the purchaser is entitled to the RM3,000 relief (categorised as a personal computer). But, if the answer is B, the purchaser is not entitled to the RM3,000 relief since it cannot be categorised as a personal computer. YAY!!! I got income tax refund next year! My colleague has iPhone 3GS on Maxis iValue plan. He is asking me how he can use iPad to connect to the Internet with iPhone iValue plan? Does he need to get additional devices/modem or he only needs to configure settings: in iPhone or in iPad?
