For Rm1599 is very cheap for the 16GB WIFI. My fren just bought one 32GB also RM2200 at sunway

Historically, Apple either phase out the old models or offer the old model at a lower capacity. So my guess is that they will introduce the new model and deplete the stock for the old model before doing so. But since Malaysia is the dumping ground of old stocks, these older iPad models may linger much longer in the market before the new model arrives. Looking at pricetags Machines and MacStudio offers for their old stock/display models, they are discounter between RM200-300.

RM200-300? That's not very much discount.. So then it's quite feasible to get one now, and sell that off at a good price once the iPad 2 launches, right?

Because I can't wait much longer, feel like an addict in withdrawal.

Machines mid valley is practically empty when i go there earlier. More staffs than customers and no queue at all.

really? hehe might go there after work 2day to check it out... i guess an ipad is not something everybody uses everyday, unlikel the iphone 4, so the queue would be much less compared to when the iphone 4 was launched in Malaysia... plus users who really wanted it would have bought it from overseas by now... i myself almost made arrangements to buy one from HK until i saw the news this morning...

Got mine at Sunway Pyramid at lunchtime today (machines and Harvey Norman selling). Practically no queue at all. Walk in and headed straight to the counter to pay for one.
