i read somewhere tat if your itunes is V10.xx and above, you might lose some of the things you used to do on V9.xx.............fyi my itunes is still V9.xx

according to apple, u hav to update to the latest version of itunes in order to update to latest iOS. But im sure there's another way. So far din encounter any problem by updating.

Yes you have to. I upgraded to 4.2.1 GM yesterday -- iTunes asked me to update to 10.1 after that.

Hi guys I need help, seriously!
My iPad suddenly today stopped working. Last nite I left it to charge and I went to bed. This morning when I try to switch it on, it wouldn't on...tried the round button and the top right button...even by holding it...screen just black.
I am just trying my luck but any help or info is very much appreciated!

This happens to me often especially if I leave the Trade Nations game without existing. Do hold the Home and Power buttons for at least 10 seconds and it should reboot the iPad. Else you may wanna try putting your iPad in DFU mode.

if we pressed the on/off top right button and the home round bottom center for 10 secs it means tat we are doing a hard reset?

i tried tat many times on my iTouch when it hanged during upgrading of Cydia Packages, and after awhile, the Apple log will appear and all will be fine............i din try tat on my Ipad yet
