Did you add your computer in the iPad server list ??
Did you see such a screenshot ?

Just select the Add to iTunes button located at bottom corner right

[attachmentid=1816911]
I have list out instructions in my blog but the mods do not allow me to post my own links here , even though mine is a non-business blog. The MODS here had deleted several of my posts because I post links to my blog and I recieve a warning from him. You can check up there - at search box , just type  iPAD : AIR VIDEO – Watching unsupported video formats

Hi,

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate situation there,benny888.

To answer your 2 questions ,Yes. After conversion ( confirmed mp4 format) I added to Movie under iTunes and it appeared under the movie library. Checked the box, sync but nothing happened. Tried few times, unchecked, checked, revert, apply, sync but still failed.

Will try to delete n start afresh again... :-)

I would advice you to get the 32gb...I'm using the 16gb and I don't have enough space for movies..the games apps are quite big in size.
*
Yea, concurred better get 32GB, if u have the budget. Mine already used up 16GB, and more movies to be loaded :-)

Do you use it with your camera kit? Else how do you load it from pendrive? Care to enlighten me? notworthy.gif
*
Well,it be great if we can watch movie on iPad from the movie stored in the pen drive , just my 5cts opinion still it will defeat whole purpose of having a 32 or 64GB size..

My neck already very long for waiting it to Malaysia ><

If you don't mind my suggestion, you can grab one from those LYN sellers as their prices are reasonable, unless u are planning to visit Singapore,as in my case.
Got mine expensive my 7% due to hiccup with my GST claim.

Guys,

I was picking up my new iPhone 4 from Maxis KT when the staff informed me that the iPad will be launch by Maxis in this coming November....
I believe it is reliable since they are able to get me the iPhone pretty quick...Guess I wait and buy the Apple iPad slim case from the Apple.

If you using an app to view it, go under the Apps Tab in your iTunes, then at the bottom, go to the File Sharing section, under the app (Eg: Goodreader), just drag the PDF file inside, then sync your iPad. The PDF file should be in your app after sync.
*
Hi,

Seems I cannot locate the File Sharing section.By the way I am not using any app to view the pdf on my iPad (just yet).Right now,I just downloaded the mag ( in rar format and converted to pdf format,on my window based laptop.

Now it is in pdf,but I m having issue dragging this mag in pdf format over to iTunes..Thanks in advance.

Do you have any apps which can view PDF? Try cloud readers first if you don't...you should be able to find the could readers app under the file sharing section...

Currently I m not using any app to open the PDF files, just the preinstalled when we purchased the iPad . However will try Benny method later :-) thanks.

It should be straightforward and immediate detection of wifi. Never faced such issues with mine since purchased in May'10. Never nreed to enabled any special settings , I use default. The ipad can also detect both my Dell Streak and HD2 ( Android) as wifi hotspots easily ( with password enabled). If you still having issues, possible hardware problem. What is your firmware - apparently older ones of 3.2.1 reported some have this problem. Upgrade to 3.2.2. Mine is still on 3.2.1

For me from Johor Baru right up to KL no problems . Before that I was using Maxis - on highway many times, my 3G/GPRS gets disconnected . Digi I found was very stable rarely I faced any disconnect issues.

Digi coverage in my 2 states, Kelantan n Terengganu still GPRS, be it line or broadband,

Hi all,

Am interested to buy an iPad now, but some concerns here... iOS 4.2 coming out anytime now, so I wanted to wait for the 4.2 iPad retail set... But afraid that once 4.2 box set is here, demand would be high and will be in a long waiting list again...

Should I buy one with 3.2.2 now (that is readily available in stores) and self upgrade later when 4.2 is released? Or should I wait for the 4.2 box set first and risk waiting for weeks or months?

I know that it's the same in the end, but there's something about getting 4.2 right out of the box...  smile.gif

The upgrade from 3.2.2 to 4.2 for existing iPad owners will be free of charge right?

I also considered waiting for iPad 2 (rumoured to b coming out either dec, Jan or April..or never...) but it appears tat iPad 2 with face time n cameras will be in 7" format like the samsung galaxy tab... Something I'm not too keen due to the smaller screen size...

Sigh... Decisions, decisions... Any advice from apple fans?

BTW, I'll be buying from singapore retail store...and this will be my first apple product...
*
You have laid out your thought nicely there. Now it remain only 1 question for yourself , how urgent do you need it? If No, I suggest you wait for iPad 2. .. No sarcasm meant here.

I will strongly advised you to reconsider getting the iPad for work. The latest MacBook air 11" will be a better choice. The iPad is meant to be a leisure and consumer gadget. It is not so suitable for creative or office related. If you plan to use it mainly for office related you will be dissapointed. That is how I feel. The iPad is great for browsing, ebooks, magazine, gaming , email is mediocre though.
You need to purchase office suite or iWork as not provided. You can get some mediocre and features limited free app as alternative. Editing is terrible unless you have good and accurate typing. You have to consider all alternatives of file transfers since it lack usb .
*
If I have known Mac Air will be in the market, I would not have gotten the iPad :-(.

One can never catchup with technology. By the time ipad2 is out, we will see potential users asking when will ipad3 be out
Buy it now if you need it . Experience the joy and benefit of using it now.

Looking at apple strategies of updates their macs, iPods, iPhone I don't think we will see any new iPad until at least till June next year
*
Yea, I like the phrase ' experience the joy and benefit....as long as our wallet allow :-). On serious note, my iPad really serve me well in terms or portability and instant access to Internet ,and no more worrying about battery life or the few seconds booting up wait :-)
