// Check-in for V3

QUOTE(aleluya @ Aug 12 2010, 11:12 PM)
Seems to me a lot user who owns iPad found that iPhone 4 is almost a replacement for it already.

iPad apps are too little to be found now

cut the multisim and you are good to go. my current data plan can be shared however the data plan i have is an old one which is an unlimited corporate account.

Ok. What if I got another mini SIM using multi-SIM and chopped that DIY into a micro-SIM. Would it be able to share my 3GB data plan?

I just got a 32GB iPad WiFi + 3G. I know Maxis offers microSIM but that would mean I have to subscribe to another data plan. I have an existing 3GB data plan for my iPhone. Can I use the Maxis multi-sim and get a microSIM but share my 3GB data plan? Is it possible?
*
Use digi prepaid Internet, cut it in micro sim size. Rm2 a day. So Rm60 equal to 30 days. I use it and realize it can last around 32-34 days with rm 60. Besides, you can remain unsubscribed for up to 90 days. Reload, just like normal reload, buy normal prepaid 10, 30, 60. smile.gif u enjoy unlimited Internet access with 500 mb a day quota. So it is roughly equal to 15G data with rm60 a month icon_idea.gif

Maxis sucks on its iPad data plan.

BTW – Rumors indicate new iPad out first quarter 2011 – with new Cortex A9 processor with 512MB of RAM, etc. The Cortex A8 was used in the iPhone 3GS (comparison)

I've had mine since day one from Australia and haven't looked back. Still getting a lot of use from my iPad. It's fit into my routine nicely and sits on the desk like it's always been there. Kinda wondered how we got on without these tablet devices before. smile.gif

Don't buy. I destroy mine. It is really insensative If ur iPad has screen protector. mad.gif

If u really need one. You can DIY. get a conductive foam (u can get it from usual comp component packaging), and tuck a small pcs of it into emptied pen body. U can google for video instruct.

Using finger is 101 % reliable, fast and good response. Using the pogo stylus plus 2 others i tried is frustrating, perhaps 90% max . It might be good for those who draws/sketches on pad. For normal use - nothing beats the finger
It will be good for those who need to wear gloves because of the weather

i already pulled my screen protector years ago from my ipod touch and just leave it.(i was using zagg screen protector, but feel unconfortable, feel sticky...although is military grade.)
after pull the screen protector , i feel my ipod slim a lot >_<...

the reason i ask the pogo stylus is wanted to know that stuff is nice to draw or not...since using finger and pen drawing is 2 different things.

(and usually i think if i ask this kind question in ipod touch thread i think no people will answer that...ipad thread got more rich people testing new stuff here XD)

only you can answer that for yourself~ smile.gif

depends on what you wanna use the ipad for. If just for browsing, reading some books, playing some games, its more than enough.

@marky,
It's almost impossible for us to advise whether 16GB is sufficient. If it's only meant for games and for u to browse movies, I guess it's sufficient but if u intend to store those movies onto the iPad, U'll find the 64GB insufficient tongue.gif

well for stylus i recommend Dagi ( from taiwan )

its sensitive ( just like ur finger ) no need to exert any sort of pressure.

the down side of it well there's 2
1. it doenst come with a cap ... so its easily damaged if not stored well
2. i prefer it to be more angled ( personal preference )

I've email them about the problems.
and they have replied. that they are looking into it .
hopefully there will be a cap and different angled stylus to choose from next time = )

Added on August 13, 2010, 11:00 ambtw u just missed the promotion buy one get one free from dagi.. = |

it depends on the area you are using it. around KL area, if fairly equal, but is best you try out both in your area before using one. to try just get a prepaid sim card and buy the 1 hour or 1 day pass.

@ksc_3688,
Do U notice the speed slows down tremendously when U connect more than 1 device on the MiFi? Is it just me being too sensitive or what...?

Any feedback from MiFi users?

Even if you're sharing a 3G connection with few people, I think you'll not get the 3G speed anymore. It's sharing the bandwidth. I maybe wrong but logically it should be that way.
