Bought this last Friday night. Although I'm broke now, it was a real steal at that price, so it doesn't matter. biggrin.gif

So something came in the mail today...

Not really something I bought per se, but:

Boring design, though. The previous card with the 1Ds Mark III looks better.

Now to visit Peremba Square. biggrin.gif

I wasn't sure if it's a fake until I saw the tag. Crumpler's MDH series don't come with that tag.

RM150 is alright though. I once paid RM250 for a counterfeit 6MDH, but I managed to get a refund after I found out it was a fake.

Cluttered tabletop and nowhere to shoot, no choice. biggrin.gif

Been looking for that book for some time now though, glad I finally got it.

Same strap that comes with the 1D-series.

Paid a premium for it (about two times the price of an Industry Disgrace), but I prefer these straps. Easier to stuff in the bag.

Aiyoooooo 1D strap on a 5D. This is like the D300 with D3 strap I saw at the mamak stall. laugh.gif

No choice. I didn't get an original Canon strap when I bought my 5D used, and they don't sell the 5D Mark II strap anywhere. sad.gif

Quality looks much better than most I've seen on eBay... If you happen to get a hold of a few extras, I'm interested. brows.gif

I got my plain black 1s from Digicolor for rm10 n they're ok. The 1s with the chrome canon word on it are of horrible quality.

Thanks for the tip, I'll go check Digicolor out soon. biggrin.gif

The new 85mm? I'm no Nikon user, so I'm just guessing.

If so, nice lens!

Camera equipment shouldn't have any customs taxes imposed - why did you get taxed?

There is 0% tax on camera equipment. What was your lens declared on the customs form as?

The last time I had a camera body held by the customs was because of its value - it was almost RM3000, so I had to declare and clear it from the customs and pay RM18 for a silly form, although there were no taxes levied. The whole Malaysian Royal Customs department is just another corrupt cancer of this country, much like many, many other individuals/organizations here. laugh.gif

Didn't get the camera brand new, but it's as good as one. biggrin.gif
