Bought this last week


And became Canon Gila-Gila Sales victim yesterday

Huhu, I ordered mine since last Wednesday and still waiting for it to arrive, cameraless for now 

i just bought this today 

For my cheapo 50mm f1.8II

hoho.. after using this, no more 'warm colour photos'.. haha

anyway, screwed city-link express.. should've receive it yesterday but said no people at home? call pun idak.. padahal ade je org kat umah

Yalar.. i called them, they said unable to locate.. address not complete? what the heck.. my shipment from USA also using same address laaaa.. arrive safely what...

went to the office.. collect.. said came yesterday, no people at home.. duh.. customer service said different.. the deleviry man said different 

i bought from yamiya.. cheaper than shashinki and faster.. huahua.. the transaction should settle in 2 days.. but citylink bengong, got delayed 1 day..

i cant wait already.. to calibrate my lcd..    anyway.. the office not so far away.. better i pick it up rather wait for another day?

i checked my calibrated lcd with my camera lcd.. looks same.. only the brightness differs i think.. my camera lcd much brighter.. but the color.. i can say quite accurate!

Used to take like 5mins for windows to boot up and become usable... And LR or CS4 takes a minute or two to launch and become usable...

Now it takes less than 20 secs for windows. and LR/CS4 takes 5-10 secs to startup!! LR catalogs and previews load instantly, and no more dreaded loading when you go from grid to loupe view. selecting multiple pics n going into survey mode is super fast!! Even with 14mb NEFs!!!

Truly the best investment I've made in a long time. Better than my proc, ram and gc upgrade previously.

Game load times are sooo much shorter, and no more stuttering as the hdd spins up when entering new areas tht need new textures to be loaded.

Yup yup. Decided to go for these puppies instead of another lens or speedlight. Kinda like an early christmas gift to myself.

A few days already and I haven't hated them yet... My PC... The bios screen takes a hell long time. Once it gets to the windows part its pretty fast like you said. As for LR... Well I dunno. Maybe I've a huge catalog? And ol stuff isnt on the ssd. Been thinking of splitting up my catalogs, but lazy to do it so far.

I'm using 4x wd black 2TBs in Raid5 for my permanent storage.

Where you get those curved things in th drybox? My lenses are rolling about in mine... Have to stand on their ends, but for long teles cant stand them up.

and kinda sayang my canon oso havent but the BG, so no 8fps and AF more nicer than my 5d2 still learning bit by nit
see la which one serve me better, i keep that one

i can post up something later on maybe. not so soon la..need to learn this nikon from zero

but do take note im not a professional photographer so dont expect im gonna do a really good job yah..just a casual photographer
