QUOTE(widget @ Oct 27 2010, 05:27 PM) I know bro.... 15k CDP..... But have to contend with the iPod Classic 80Gb when on the moves. At home I still have Bladelius Freja Mk II CD player, >RM15k CDP, but feeding Pop-Pulse T-amp and Travagan 3" speakers.... both cost less than 10% of the CD player.... hehe maybe upgrade ipod to gmod or pmod or something-mod? |

QUOTE(aztoiozalan @ Oct 27 2010, 11:01 PM) yup igrados...im now more to clarity stuff n details..kekeke cus i had bought gumstick n otw downloading .flac files..hehe..but walaoweyh damn long to wait..lol.. Good that you know what you are looking for now. I am yet to find my personal favourite. I like to listen to sweet vocals and sparkilng and energetic high end without the fatigue. However, having found one that does that, I sometimes find myself looking for that bass thud. I listen to mostly alt metal and prog rock, so I think I need an IEM/headphone for each genre. igrado for me is like more clear d instrument all clear n bass just enuf..thats wut i nid act..just enuf bass..no nid boom boom boom...how bout its soundstage compare igrados vs shroom eb A headphone should have a bit more soundstage than an IEM. However, the Igrados are open air type so will leak sounds in and out. This post has been edited by tunertoobe: Oct 27 2010, 11:10 PM |

Open type means people around you can listen to what you are listening to, MS1 is a type of it. If you really into jazz, you really need good soundstage and quality bass. Farm more and then use your ulti for the target you looking at!i like to listen metallica, oasis, 30 seconds, artic...i just dun like boom boom bass too much...just enuf wud do for me... i need more clarity n clean or highs sparks...n i listen to classical @ jazz oso.. |

Yeah that's about right. Once the music plays I don't think you can hear the outside, but the people around you can probably hear what you are listening, so watch out.
I too listen to classical orchestra, and string instrumentals. So I probably don't have a preferred signature. Maybe I just want to have them all. |

Farm a bit more, then get MS1, lol. I tested iGrado before, i still think MS1 is a better all rounder as the sound is smooher and better controlled in MS1. iGrado kinda bright for me, not everyone used to it. But then, my suggestion is go and test both of them in Jaben then only you decide.
Or perhaps you can save money by getting KSC75 and send it for recabling, then save more money for better headphone. |

guys... i used to find sony earphones rather nice as it helps external noise cancellation..
then i tried my friend's sherwood 777, it gave me feeling as though i've entered another world of music, where nobody could enter.. just to ask, how compatible is sherwood 777 & sony's earphones? are there any other more affordable replacement for sherwood? |
