Yeah. Once you move to higher end, source files become more important. If we can hear differences with out current setup, I wonder what horrors we might find moving to higher end.

Quite a number of their songs, lossless or not the quality of those songs makes it hard to differentiate to a point that it doesn't matter. Mostly from their earlier work.

Have you searched for it in Google?
Actually it's pretty simple. I haven't used foobar to play CDs, but the songs should come up as a list. Right click on one and look for "Convert".

If you don't see flac as an "output format" option, download the plugin. Search with Google.

Actually I'm as baffled as you are. I have a flac encoder already.

All logic points to no. Maybe you need to run it in a little bit, you know, like a car that hasn't been started for a month.

I've heard "OF" them, never seen one. But reviews on their flagship player is mostly positive.

That thing is HUGE!!!
Even the volume slider suggests you should put it on a table rather than carry it around.
I'd think of buying it when the technology is good enough to shrink that thing down.

From the looks of it I might need to downgrade my amp of choice for my purchase.

What would you guys recommend. I was planning on buying the Graham Slee Voyager, but just in case I can't buy that, what would be another similar alternative?

Guys, what do you think about the Ibasso D2 or D2+?
And walabies, price quote please.

Considering it over the Graham Slee Voyager because it's smaller and doubles as a DAC.
Then again, Graham Slee might have more power.....oh well, I'll still consider it to open up my choices.

What amp are you going for?
After considering everything, I'm still going to have the Voyager...I am planning on a very analytical headphone next, so a warm amp might be a good pairing.

After this amp purchase, I really have to actually try the headphones out to make sure it suits the amp.
I'm gonna have to fly over there and drop by Jaben.

I've read somewhere that Jaben won't cary any Fischer Audio(it was Jaben Singapore), so I'm kinda surprised.
Hope it's not a limited time thing.

I've already PM'ed walabies to ask how much I can get it with the DDM and Voyager.
I was going to buy the DBA from another seller but having all purchased from a single seller will save some time and hassle.

Thank goodness the DBA is at Jaben. I won't have to buy from another seller which saves me the hassle...and some cash.
