Every review I've read about it seems to be positive, and some even say they're a thing made from heaven!
The only dual driver dynamic in the world as of now. 15mm and 7mm drivers crammed into one housing. I just wish I have the cash right now to have Jaben post it to me, my ears are itching for an upgrade.

Never wind them up I guess. They'll be straight and relaxed over time. I don't recommend pulling on them or anything.

I too will succumb to Jaben's power. Just hope I can last till March(which is when all the moolahs will come in). By then, hahahahaha!!!!!

Radius is a japanese earphone maker.
Their most notable achievement is their dual driver Dynamic type IEM (I dare not say the model as it can be very toxic, to you ), which BTW is the only kind ever in the world as of now.
I can't wait to get one.

Your current rig will definitely last you long. However I do suggest keeping a constant flow into your savings, you know, for "emergency" purposes.

Now now, we don't want you poisoning the poor fella.

You got it spot on.
I myself am quite new to the scene but been displeased with conventional audio equipment for a long time. I was like you, finally found something as small as a lighter but produced the kind of sound I want.

Next I'm going into DACs and amps, and higher end IEMs. I'm starting practical next year, and 2/3 of my money next year will go into buying new stuff.

What grado did you test?

Good that you know what you are looking for now. I am yet to find my personal favourite. I like to listen to sweet vocals and sparkilng and energetic high end without the fatigue. However, having found one that does that, I sometimes find myself looking for that bass thud. I listen to mostly alt metal and prog rock, so I think I need an IEM/headphone for each genre.

A headphone should have a bit more soundstage than an IEM. However, the Igrados are open air type so will leak sounds in and out.

Yeah that's about right. Once the music plays I don't think you can hear the outside, but the people around you can probably hear what you are listening, so watch out.

I too listen to classical orchestra, and string instrumentals. So I probably don't have a preferred signature. Maybe I just want to have them all.

So it's actually your actual ears that hurt.
Maybe clamped too hard and affects blood flow to your ears....

The only reason I do little steps is that, not only to satisfy my cravings for good audio, but also to collect IEMs.

Waste of money yes, but the satisfaction of the experience, and seeing all my IEMs dangling on my wall, priceless.

But recently sold every single one to fund for my next upgrade.

Though no high-end stuff.
Was thinking of arranging them into chronological order too. Seeing as I need the money though, no matter how hard it was, I had to let them go. Upgrading is my number 1 priority.
But wait till I get a proper job. Maybe I'll combine two of my interests together and make make a car for audiophiles.

Don't have any yet. The only one left is my Soundmagic PL50, bought at RM200.
There was one time I sold my IEM(the Shroom EB to be precise) to a friend, and out of charity, sold it for only RM20. It was only 3 months old.

Haha, oh well it wasn't meant to be.
And this SoundMagic I have has already been booked by the same friend. Only this time, I'd sell it for what it's worth.

Haha, everybody has their own habit of buying.
Like me for example. if I have RM5k I wouldn't buy 1 custom, I'd buy 2 or 3 universals.

I'd assume it is for gaming, so there's no need for high quality sound, just good positioning.
A friend of mine bought something, he said it was RM125. Can't remember a specific model and the make is pretty vague. I think it was a Sonicgear.
Not great for music but does have sound stage, due to being a gaming headset and all, and haven't heard it when playing games, but check it out anyways.

Well we just have to figure out how to live with what we have.
If that was me I'd buy whatever the hell is in Jaben's store room out back in a day.

Yeah I get that a lot too. Even more so when I say that it's RM100+ more expensive than a 4GB Sony B-series.

My friend asked me about the Hifiman HM-801 as I was reading about it on the web. After what I told 'em what it does(which according to today's generation pretty much does nothing) and told him the price, he said it's the stupidest thing ever to be sold on the market, and pretty much rubbed it in my face after I told him I'm trying to get one.
