Do we have to buy our own Ipod and send it to mod or does Jaben offer the Imod already done?

OIC.
I saw in headjam that a new DDM is on its way, and apparently been so for quite a while, I'm so outdated. Just when I was about to buy a DDM, something new came crashing the party. Being a slow money saver does have its benefits after all. |

For me, I do like having that extra bit of energy at the top end. The website says around a 3dB reduction in lower frequencies so that wouldn't make it that less bassy. Female vocals might improve(some reviewers say female vocals lack a bit with the current DDM), and strings would sound better me thinks.
The gap between the new DDM and the DBA-02 will be a bit closer. These two are still going to be my pick for my next purchase. It's just a matter of when the new DDM comes out. It would be a bit less of a gamble in terms of fit(as I can't try one personally). |

Oh I miss the days when I can hint my parents and get what I want for my birthday.
More than that, I wish I was an audio freak then. |

QUOTE(egyprince @ Dec 27 2010, 09:21 AM) Yah, now me too. I already spent a bit on a Sansa Fuze+. With that, I need to collect about 1k more for my dream rig. Haiya....wish I worked full time cos it'll be much faster. Added on December 27, 2010, 8:48 pmHello there people of Jaben. I have a friend who is interested in a cheap earphone to buy for his little brother. Although I haven't heard of one, I suggested him a Hippo Groove. Should save him a lot and from review it is a bit of a bassy one and with a popular sound sig. Should be fun sounding. Good suggestion? I can't think of anything else at RM60. Added on December 27, 2010, 9:41 pmGuys, I want to know. What would be good, the Ordnance .22, Ibasso T3D or Meier Audio Corda XXS? I'm leaning more towards the Corda because I can use a wall power supply for better sound when I'm not on the go, but the other two are a lot cheaper, like extra IEM cheaper. It seems that a bit of a financial crisis just landed on me(I had to replace some tools I've lost at work in a workshop. This post has been edited by tunertoobe: Dec 27 2010, 10:01 PM |

Yeah, he wouldn't mind that I think. Plus I don't think his little brother is an audiophile anyways.

Well, that's a problem for my friend, the big brother to handle.
Guys, is the XXS the same as the Headsix? I think I'll settle for it instead of the Voyager, but can't find any reviews on it but did find for Headsix. I'd have to test out headphones after this so I can check up on their synergy though, so for now it would be a novelty toy for me to experiment with. According to my understandings, the audio data from the source has to be converted into a wireless friendly format. The receiver(headphone) then decodes it again into sound. That process kinda degrades the sound considerably.

I believe there is a bluetooth headphone out there made for audiophiles. Or was it stereo speakers? I can't remember exactly but I do remember claims that it is made as audiophile grade(or close to it), and it uses a new method/algorithm or something to make the audio data BT friendly but with much less degradation.
I cannot remember as I wasn't really interested so wasn't paying a whole lot of attention to it. |

I'm just amazed as how tirelessly they answer my many many questions.
I'm sure they're a busy lot, so, bravo to Jaben. I can't wait to do business with them again. |

I don't know what will happen to me if I ever get myself into one of their branches.
It might not only be poisonous, but maybe venomous! |

That FAD is a universal innit? They're just expensive but many comment it to not have the sound you'd expect with the price tag. The Westone and the JHAs are customs, they're in a different league altogether.
When's V3 coming? I have a dual-driver dilemma I want to solve. This post has been edited by tunertoobe: Jan 9 2011, 12:42 PM |

Oooh, it's a coincidence that I just read about them.
Very cool looking, and over the ear some more. There's also the cheaper EX600. Good accessory but dunno if they're going to be as harsh as the EX700. Tried that one, didn't like the higher mids. |
