ok, does anyone know how to sync contact picture to facebook profile picture? till this day i still cant find the way, i already add email to the contact, then choose sync with contact from the integrated account. still the contact picture is blank

what do you mean by version 4? if you are talking about firmware, you can check it by homescreen > menu button >setting > about phone

i have problem installing it too. 1st thing is to get driver from other than the one kies install it. try to search on XDA forum (will give it here after i found it)..

then try to connect using media storage mode 1st, then media player, then debugging mode, and then you try the kies mode.

it vary between firmware. some firmware you can get lock in 2 second. some 2 minute or even 2 hours. you can try search at XDA forum a fix for this..

Added on August 15, 2010, 10:07 pmthe easiest way and the most confirm way is to see you got superuser application or not. if rooted means you got that. or you can download busy box from the market, run it, it will say your phone rooted or not

question: it say on the instruction dont mount drive... but if i unmount the internal storage it will say error error error when running fixlag.bat

JP3 CAN BE ROOT, it just not straight foward, like putting update.zip or one-click, you can also download paul-modaco JP3 firmware, it already pre-root

actually you just need the kernel of jp2 which is like 1mb or sumthing... i give you the link of pages of what you need to download and how to root if you want

you need a gps fix, samsung stock gps software got a lil bit problem. you can fix if by upgrade to higher firmware, or you could find a fix at XDA

did you use gps status or use it with a navigation software?

some say if gps status, ya it is fast, if with navi software, slow,

and if you use A-gps (gps + internet) = slow

pure gps = fast

i dont know how true is it, cause i cant find any gps software that didnt use data.
