i can pinch in the app drawer and look at all the page just like we can do it at homescreen

the one you downloaded is NOT the firmware its a custom rom, you must flash first to JPC and then apply the lite or full

im sure what you downloaded is update.zip, do you even read the instruction/guide/info on the page you downloaded?

the H means you are connected to HSPDA which is your mobile data networks, if you see the arrow are blinking meaning that there is data transfer going on, and if you are not in unlimeted data plan, i suggest you download APNdroid to turn it off, or go to setting > wireless and network > mobile networks and delete the APN there.

you view your picture using the gallery apps or other apps? i have no problem viewing in gallery apps in landscape. try to tilt your phone alil more maybe?

you can change your screen time out at setting > display > screen timeout


UPDATE about JPC: opening the gallery is fast like hell now. when you type in a box you will notice there is a small pointer, now you can navigate around the text much easy, me like this pointer very much

hmm it say JPC, so i think nope, its not official, you can get it through kies, but not in official way. read the 1st post on previous page. there are links about the firmware

after you select the maxis, press menu key, delete apn, one question.. are you on any data plan of maxis?
by deleting this apn meaning you cut all your data connection (maybe mms too), and if you want to use internet by 3G, you have to set it again,
if you use APNdroid you will cut internet(that use 3G/HSPDA not wifi) only and not mms

if you are on 500mb you REALLY REALLY need to be careful, search the word maxis in this thread and you will find many horrifiying things happen. so becareful,
and since you sign up for the data plan meaning you are going to use it right, so dont delete your apn cause then your data plan will be like useless,so go to market and find apndroid, when you dont want to use your data, turn it off by clicking on it (it is a widget), and when you want to use it again, click it again and your data will be on again. if you have prblem on and off your data, you could also try switch pro gadget

Amen for that my brother, i too want a bumper case, but as far as i know, nothing yet in the market, there are suggestion for you to buy those rubber case and just cut the back

for me i want the bumper case cause i want to show the google sign on the back phone, but i also dont want my chrome to peel of/scratch after sometime

what you say also true, apple do give free bumper case cause of the antena.

the apps previews is REALLY laggin

err no... i have JPC on my phone right now.... i have 8 apps windows, when i pinch for preview is barely can scrool

here some bug i found in JPC

1. cant delete multiple picture in gallery
2. no turn off setting for showing number of msg at homescreen

i have no problem with this..

the stock homescreen will have the stock messaging apps at the dock, it has counter, when one msg receive it will pop up number 1 there. if you use handcent to open the sms, the number just wont go away, i been trying to find how to turn it off, no luck, the only thing i could do is remove it from the dock and replace it with handcent

i got the same problem as you just now, cant get the wifi to connect, it happen after i mess around with busybox....

i dont know about the latest phone. but a few years ago my phone cant detect only digi network, when insert other sim its ok, when insert other phone its ok, when i deliver to a shop, it say one of the antenna is broken so it cant detect digi GSM network.....

haha sorry2 let me comfort your heart then, there are reports like yours in ryanza thread at xda forum, few of it to be exact, so yeah it is cause by ryanza maybe

UPDATE FOR JPC (maybe): today i suddenly got an update at samsung apps, when i open it i see task manager 1.1.4, from other firmware got or not this update?
