hi,
my case are quite different from you all , yes it is indeed holy spirit harass me most of the time.
i keep refuse and resist everything, the LORD indeed want me to abandone my degree as well. luckily i did pass and the degree cert.
and yes i did join churches before, the "lord" really want me to forsake everything, my career, my loves one, my relatives, almost everything, like an child being abandoned. if my parents help me on anything that benefits me, the force will use many ways to create conflict and cause many unexplained/weird damage between me and my family, sometimes my friends.
secondly, demons and christ angels(holy spirit) are partners/friends in term of real relationship. They use each other for own purposes sometimes.

i am not 神经病/psycho/insane people, this situation is real. Anything to do with my gain of my need, especially money, they will heavily interfere.

So even if i become atheist, they will still harrass me, because i have no protection. therefore the only way is Buddhism, the another authority which is the only the power can protect me. I understand how the spiritual force works in the universe.

this time i don't think can take it anymore. it has reached my max limit of patience level . if the holy spirit appear in the flesh, i would use knife /gun or anything straight kill him without any second thought .

Anyway, any good buddhist temple in Malaysia? i need the genuine one. i really have no choice anymore. I do not need you to understand my situation, i just need to find a genuine buddhist temple, and slowly become vegetarian. and repay all my debt.

There are many temples around. You can check out Nalanda. There are no monks in the centers, but you can seriously learn from the courses offered.

Just wondering, since Hindu & Buddhist generally sees cows as sacred (Buffalo considered cow?), most don't eat Beef, and some are full Vegetarian not for health but for belief of not hurting animals.

So I'm wondering do they mind or think about non-food animal products, like Leather wallet, Leather Belt, Leather shoes, bags, even Car seats etc?

I know it's not as strict as Islam where Pig = big No No. but i'm thinking if i felt Cow is sacred, i would not use Cow leather products, even if it's a byproduct from cow meat, it still encourage slaughtering of cow, for non essential use, which is worse than slaughtering cow for meat.

Tamils & Buddhists /ktards, wots ur say on this? So far, i have yet seen Hindu/Buddhist certified products. Even vegetarian cert is only for food.

asking here since some folks locked my topic which i believe is a genuine no harm question.

What do you mean by "mind"?
If you are asking if they are using it or not then it depends. Monks are allowed to eat meat too but they must ensure that the meat served to them are not slaughtered for the purpose of feeding the monks as this would be against the teachings.

And fyi, monks do not have possessions such as money and would depend on donations/alms from others for their meals.
It should be the same thing with what they use.

they see cow as sacred, so i'm asking if they mind using cow products like Cow leather wallet, shoes, belts, car seats. since they see cow as holy, i think it would be inappropriate for them to use cow products like meat & skin, especially those devoted to refrain from beef consumption, or outright vegetarian.

also asking vegetarians those that practice because they don't want to harm animals thus resort to vegetarian.

only certain small % of monks eat meat, usually those staying in areas where vegetables are scarce, saying they don't have money is really a joke. it's not the ancient China where monks just go around asking for food.

but IMO if the religion did not emphasize what to look out for & avoid, most people probably never though about what animal the leather came from.

but i'm sure there are devotees who though about it.

btw were you the one that closed my topic?

you know, you remind me of Islam.

it's like you assume everyone expects you not to eat infront of them during fasting, while only small % of them think that way, majority are still pretty open minded.

so if you say don't give those things, you are making assumptions on others, they might felt sad that you misunderstood them though they don't use leather goods, thus you giving something alternatives (that they might have less preference).

i don't know your religion, but i can see you ain't no Hindu/Buddhist. A true follower would try to understand the world, which includes other religions & their beliefs. At least for Hindu/Buddhist.

it all depends on how much you know of the recipients and their sensitivities as well as the sense of strength of your bonding with them.

but Buddhism also have a set of teaching, and i particularly referring to those that practice no beef/vegetarian followers, so there must have some sort of general consensus on usage of cow products right? maybe not 100%, but at least 80%?
