if ur internet down u still can play the campaign, challenge mode and vs AI by offline mode.
the only thing is u cant get the achievement while in offline mode.
i tested it myself by unplug the cable and play. 100% works.

sayang la cannot achievement. that's the thing. they should have some local storage that updates b.net when possible.

vs AI can offline mode? hrmrmr. that's new. thanks for that info.

EA isnt as bad as you think.

At least the storyline for Mass Effect 1 and 2 actually make sense and being a fun, epic game to play. At the same time, Bioware actually made a non linear story based game that actually work without glaring plot holes popping out, unlike SC2's non linear campaign which is a pile of crap, at best. SC2's storyline doesnt even make sense. One minute fighting against Dominion, next minutes, Valarian comes and ,oh, lets fight Kerrigan. Tonnes of undeveloped plot in the whole game. Also, not to forget about the characters are completely awful. None of them are memorable and full of cliche, as they are just generic characters.

Those who spend their money for only the single player portion of the game, probably gonna shoot themselves, as they paid so much money for a game with awful storyline.

What a great story you have, Blizzard.

I really do hope that Blizzard making such an awful story is to lay down foundation for Hearts of the Swarm. Rather than ruining the whole SC Universe with a bad fan fiction.

ehh, picky la you. tongue.gif i enjoyed the game, probably cos i didn't think too much. i thought the story was alright overall.

the characters were memorable, but not that good a way. Raynor like the great american hero. Kerrigan like villain. More funny i find is the scientist and mechanic stereotype. Tychus like some bad-ass. I quite like the Tosh character.

love the cinematics though.

Added on October 2, 2010, 8:53 pmoh btw for me the SEA server sucks. after patch 1.1 the download map was so slow. when friends play different map, aiyoh the download of map is a killer.

maybe ISP issue la, my IP range sucks i suppose.

but the same problem I don't face with NA server. so now smarter a bit, after patch i go to NA server first to get all maps and stuff updated.

donno what you guys complaining about framerates, i play using X3 425 with nVidia GT 220 for the whole game and didn't have issues in heavy combat scenes.

the game will decide the setting for the card. if you happen to be very clever to want to BOOST the detail, then be prepared for slowdown.
