Actually each camera brand has their own strengths and weaknesses, I don't say Nikon is the best, because you have to remember the lens are expensive as well. Canon on the other hand, has a more advanced movie mode, Sony has more variety of lenses, can put Minolta lens, since Minolta.
All these fanboyism on DSLR brands are utterly useless. It really matters on the preference of the photographer and in the end of the day, it IS the photographer who takes the picture, not the camera. Just my dua sen.
