And whether would the applications would be able to fully utilize the dual core processor or not. If its me, i would skip and wait for the next batch of dual cores tongue.gif

if this is indeed the dual core snapdragon, honestly i a bit disappointed...
the early benchmark shows that it's on par with the Hummingbird SoC, which is a single core processor...instead i'm hoping this is the 45nm single core version, which is should have at least 1.2GHz....

compared function to the fruit phone.... it justifies the price. Actually if you fully utilise it, it is not that "expensive". After I setup K-9 mail to check all my personal and business email automatically, it give a lot of convenience. And I have not signed up for any data plan yet. If on data plan 24/7, it will be perfect. But currently I have wi-fi access at home and at office, so not really required a data plan unless DIGI really come out with a RM28 Smart Plan. drool.gif

I have the chance to choose SGS vs Desire and I choose the Desire at the end...never regret - the Sense UI is just great. I heard SGS has a "laundry list" of problem. sweat.gif

HTC and qualcomm should put more effort in high end single core to match hummingbird that will be great, then dual core later

i have been wondering, does a high capable GPU device drains more battery compared to a lower capable device when using GPU intensive games/apps?

qualcomm is quite slow growing since they make their own cpu based on their own architecture. All other CPUs are ARM based and thats why we are seeing super modified ones like apple A4 and hummingbird. Hopefully qualcomm would be on par with ARM based but seems pretty tough indeed keeping up with a wider and more experienced competitor.
