I just sold off an old car and taruh it all for the downpayment. As for the rest, LOAN lah..... what else? Took a 7yr loan. Was given the rate of 2.73%.

call VGM and person incharge mentioned to me as all the cars stuck at port pending for additional kustam malaysia check on all the new car to prevent recon car entering malaysia. this new rules only implemented starting on 5 Nov 2010 by kustam malaysia. WTF...
VGM told me their lorry is awaiting at the port for kastam to clear the Huge batch of cars... without proper Manpower, the port is in a mess...

Oh man, that is seriously very unlucky. If that is the case, can't blame VGM as well as the dealers because this is due to our own customs fault with their own new rules. They usually want to collect more $$$ to speed things up but most corporate groups like VGM and BMW malaysia will not do any of those sort so in the end have to wait for the car the long way.

Actually, when did they promise u the car? I booked on the 1st of Nov. He promised me in 2-3weeks time, and it came in 23 days time. So I think still acceptable.
But of course, the wait was not pleasant.. even when it is only 23days.

n initially the SA promised me will get the car on 15 nov.
n when the time came close to 15, he advised me the car will only arrive on 20.
n now is already 26, most likely i will only be able to pick it up on 1.dec

i hope there is no more drama next week n i can pick the car up early next week

Ehh hi guys, any golf tsi drivers here? I just got my car this evening and I'm having some problem with the radio unit already.
I can't connect my iPhone because the screen shows 'device not supported'.
I used my iPhone cable and connect it with the media-in cable provided by them.

So has this gotta do with the problem I'm facing now?

Oh ya btw, the multidisplay shows my speed in mph when I already changed it to km/h in the settings.
