That jersey has the player specs of the brazil world cup 2010 home & away. As what you see there, that is how the player issue jersey of brazil's home and away is.

At the small white tag beneath the washing tag, the colour code is 010, which is black (01x = black, 1xx = white, 6xx = red and so on)..

Nice haul anyway

expired in what sense? spoilt?yeah im quite skeptical as well but the product is from UK and the seller claims that it is original. though he charges only 2 gbp for shipping...is that price possible from UK to Singapore?

Expired in sense of the glue. It might not stick well and will be super tedious to apply.

Also the quality of the nameset as well.. might not remove from the plastic film properly also.

But the one you posted is not authentic and looks DIY to me. How I tell? The plastic film on the letters. Authentic one should be rectangular square.

First of all, sorry that i have to post my images like this. I dont know any other way i can post these images.

Anyway, the thing is that my aunt bought me this jersey from Weston 2 weeks ago. I have not received it till today where i found out that the NN has lumps and bumps even when its so new.

So, my question is how can i flatten these bumps on my NN? I tried flipping it back and iron it flat but it wont work.  sad.gif

I hope some of you can advise me on this issue.

Thanks!

Hi.

The solution is simple.

1. Spray some water directly to the bumped areas
2. Iron it slowly directly (no cloth needed since it is the EPL senscilia material).

The AC Milan nameset is made by Stilscreen from Italy. Their nameset is very good and very very easy to DIY apply.

Remember jerseyman's review on Malaysia's 2009 Home & Away Jersey?

(If forgot, can read here again: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1424696/+2377 )

Hahaha... I found this 2009 Malaysia Away jersey being sold at ebay by a German ebay seller:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=310238926121

It claims to be a match worn shirt but it's a replica jersey.

But what caught me was that this jersey is a Nike European Market type (based on the washing tags) and it has some differences compared to the one sold locally at Asian Market:

user posted image user posted image

The washing tag confirms that it is an European Market type jersey

Strangely the style code is different to the one that I bought last month:

user posted image
Style code: 259176

Compared to my one:

user posted image

Not only that, the home kit version that I bought also has the same style code as the away:

user posted image

Hmmmmmm......... hmm.gif

And the European Market version has 2 different characteristics:

1. The keris seems to be printed near the collars (instead of bottom part):

user posted image

2. The MALAYSIA wordings on the back are not printed on the collars but beneath the collars:

Interesting...

Taken from my-fjc forum.. Enjoy:

Jerseyman's Review: 2010-2011 Manchester United Away Kit (Shirt+Shorts+Socks)

Yesterday, I was very surprised to find a UPS card inside my postbox.

It seems that the UPS delivery man came today and at first I couldn't remember what I bought... until suddenly I remember.. could it be my pre-ordered Man United away kit? I was surprised because I didn't received any email notification from kitbag (normally they will send an email to notify me that my order was delivered on a certain date).. When I checked my kitbag account, yup.. I was correct. It seems that kitbag has shipped my order on 13th Sept 2010 and it arrived on the 15th Sept 2010. By the way, I pre-ordered the away kit back in August (26th August 2010).

So last night I drove to UPS's warehouse at Jalan Tandang, PJ and self collected my parcel at 8.30pm. Mind you, if you received a UPS card in your mailbox indicating that there was a parcel and unsuccessful delivery, you can go to the HQ at Jalan Tandang and collect it after 7.30pm.

Here's my parcel:

Oh la la.. The away shirt, shorts and socks..

Let's review the new away kit:

1. The Shirt

user posted image
Manchester United Away Shirt 2010-2011

I think everyone was already aware how the new away kit will look like. No surprises here. It is almost identical to the home shirt except that is has no collars and the lightning pattern on the sleeves. Material wise, you name it..it is the same. The same front layer (bricklayered material with inner bumps or pimples) and back layer (plain material with the 'transformers' looking mesh material). Even the length as well is the same like the home kit. Longer length from top to bottom compared to last season's kit. And by the way, it's also Made in Indonesia as well...

2. The Shorts

The shorts is an exact match as to the home shorts and also both goalkeeper home and away shorts (the goalkeeper kits review will be coming soon.. need to complete them with matching socks first which is tricky). Except that on the home and away shorts, there is the red devil logo, the goalkeeper shorts doesn't. More on that later next time hihihi.. patience is virtue.

b. What Jerseyman Dislikes:
user posted image The design is a bit of a let down.. It looks like a training shirt.. but that's normal.. at first it looks ugly but later when United wins something wearing this.. it looks awesome. Trust me.
user posted image The collars... round neck. I prefer the one like on the home shirt
user posted image The black and red design on the sleeves. Will be a nightmare for me to iron (to avoid colour bleeding and ruining the sleeves)

Jerseyman Ratings (Out of 5 stars)

1. The Shirt:
Design: user posted image (Jerseyman is not so happy with the design.. It looks like a training shirt.. and the collars)
Material: user posted image (Just like the home kit.. DRI-FIT with bricklayered material... bumpy inside)
Cutting: user posted image (Not much difference to the home kit.. the same longer length but some won't like it)
Comfortness: user posted image (Luckily the round neck is not a full round neck, hence no issues on the neck)
Overall: user posted image

2. The Shorts:
user posted image (Simple design. The PU stripe is not as thick as the one on the shirt's sleeves. Just like the home shorts and the goalkeeper shorts.. oppss..)

3. The Socks:
user posted image (Design is a bit unique but nice to see all 3 colours on the socks)

Nope.. must check on the barcode sticker on the price tag.

Also, need to check on many other areas:

1. Photos on the washing tags inside the jersey
2. The 3D barcode pattern beneath the white tag near the collars (where the price tag is pint)

is it realy al-ikhsan taking their jersey from the nike or adidas supplier?
becoz i have my supplier from thailand and when i wear my Arsenal jersey and compare it with Arsenal jersey @ al-ikhsan they are 99.9% the same and the price have a realy big gap...
many told me that al-ikhsan taking the jersey from where i got it...

interested with my jersey, go to http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1576234/+0#entry36584676

Yes, I can confirm you that al-ikhsan takes authentic stocks from adidas and nike directly. I have met the sales manager from NIke Sales M Sdn. Bhd. and they have confirmed this. Same also for adidas.

Why is it that there are still people questioning the authenticity of the jerseys sold at al-ikhsan. I disagree with your supplier. They might be 99.99% the same but I can try and differentiate between them and the items at al-ikhsan are 100% authentic. Same goes to another store at BB plaza called 'Real One'.

And please don't promote fake jerseys here. It's against the rules of this thread and forum.

'ORI' grade fakes already have Manchester United 10/11 Home. Must beware then. Pictures taken from selling thread in another forum.
*
I've seen the latest new grade 'AAA' fake....

Scary isn't it? It is almost identical except from the fact that the quality is still poorer compared to the authentic.

Club crest still is poor.

Red devil logo on the white stripe is poor.

Really angry to see the latest fake. They are trying super hard to imitate the authentic one... up to the barcode sticker on the plastic bag and the 'BELIEVE' logo.

But......... still, not to brag or what.. we can still see the differences. They cannot imitate 100%.

Makes you wonder why nike revamped the club crest. Instead of direct stitching (of the club crest) on to the shirt, they made the crest somewhere else and then stitched the sides of the crest on to the shirt. When this was introduced in 2007-2008 season (for home and away), many people complained (because previously the home/away/third jersey had the club crest stitched directly onto it) the crest looks funny with that outline surrounding the crest.

Now you know why... they made it that way.

The authentic shirt still has a sharper, crisper and smoother crest. But for how long?

I haven't seen the washing tags and white nike tag beneath it yet (inside this fake jersey)............. hope it is not as good as the authentic one.

Sometimes I wonder............ why these fakes are still blooming.. The manufacturers (nike and adidas) are not helping by outsourcing them to factories in Thailand and China (you're giving these pirates more opportunity).. Price wise is killing interests of people to buy authentic ones... You try hard and hard to make them unique.. but people will try hard to imitate....

I know people have the option to choose... I won't say those who opt to buy fakes are evil. But I'm more angry when people selling fakes claim that they are authentic and cheats other buyers. We've seen this before....

I'm just start into this hobby, but when i see this kind of things, it really pissing me off. Even the seller also claim that his jerseys are authentic from ALI supplier. Either he don't know the truth or just trying to rip off buyers. Only God knows. Bar code sticker and 'BELIEVE' just as additional features in making sure that their jerseys are looked authentic. As i can see, this generation of fakes tends to attract more buyers because of it's 'original' specs.

Although with all the features, i still agree with Jerseyman that there are some parts of this jersey that have poor finishing, or slightly different from the original. Fakes will never reach the same level of quality as original one. So, when dealing with this type of jerseys (claimed as authentic but the price are too good to be true), always double confirm with the seller that it is not the ORI grade fakes. Also with additional pictures of tag etc etc. Surely there are flaws hidden on them.

Which is why we have this thread and also another forum dedicated for people like you.

We are here to help.. if you're new into this hobby, you can play safe by consulting with us first before you make your move on buying something. Don't be shy to ask, post photos in this thread to ask others help to verify if it's authentic or not...

No worries...

Jerseyman's Review: ADIDAS STAR WARS GOOD FOOTBALL JERSEY (XL)

"The force is with you young skywalker................ but you are not a jedi yet"

One of the famous catch phrases from Star Wars Trilogy ( was in Episode 5 - The Empire Strikes Back). Being a fan of Star Wars myself and also football jerseys, this jersey is a must for me. I decided to buy one.

I bought this jersey from Home Of Badges through their website. Here's the link: http://www.homeofbadges.com/catalog/item/7338418/8223678.htm

Bought it on 24th September 2010. The item was posted 29th September and was shipped from Hong Kong on the 2nd October... It arrived Malaysia on the 6th October and was shipped out to my house on the 7th October. So here's the parcel:

I can feel the force from this parcel

The shirt with the customized adidas originals star wars plastic bag and also a card gift from Home of Badges

I really like the presentation of this shirt. I remembered how customized plastic bags used to be the thing in the past.. Those who've seen AC Milan's Lotto jerseys that comes in it's plastic bags knows that the plastic bag is customized by lotto to include the AC Milan club crest and name as well on the plastic bag. So to see the plastic bag customized as well gives the extra touch. Thumbs up to adidas on this.

user posted image
The shirt comes with a $5 discount code.. thanks Yan (Home of Badges)

Most of us know that Home of Badges has a $5 discount code if you look at their website (look at the website's 'home'). I used this code (10WorldCup) and it expires on the 31st October 2010. At the website, they say "New Code will be given with your order, what will be the next code?".. So the next upcoming code is 1011fall (no need to be a secret lah. I am a kind hearted person.. so don't forget to belanja me teh tarik hihi..) :

user posted image
Don't forget this code.. very useful

Anyway here's a front and back view of the jersey:

user posted image

I really like the pattern of this jersey. The pattern is identical to Germany's Away Italia 90 jersey and Holland's Home Euro 88 Jersey.. Pity that the shirt doesn't have the typical adidas identity of the 3 stripes running down the shoulders.

Some close up views of the front and the back of the jersey:

One thing I like about this jersey besides it's plastic bag, is the price tag. Splendid old skool + new skool (the glittering looks like the stars) on the price tag. And also the price tag is not plastic tied to the jersey like the usual new jerseys, but it is tied (like umbro's england jersey). One good thing (besides that it's old skool looks) is that you can remove the price tag and then tie it back again easily (for showcase purposes):

The nice price tag is tied nicely near to the size tag (near the collars). You can untie it and tie it back again later.

Yes.. I know you will ask.. why did I buy XL.

1. There was no XXL size sold at homeofbadges. I know XXL is sold elsewhere such as at subside sports (once, but now out of stock) and adidas original USA.
2. I can wear XL but I prefer XXL for super comfyness..
3. For adidas originals.. you need to be old skool.. so better wear XL for old skool awesomeness

But for the EVIL jersey, got XXL.. hmmmmm... hmm.gif

Anyway inside the price tag:
