no,
i mean, you stick with same diet plan.. same food for sure.. at the beginning stage, u feel it's enough, and doesn't feel hungry at all.

after quite some times... muscle showing up, body getting low in fat, shape appear, u found out, ur diet is not able to give full feeling anymore.. hungry always come..

but i think this is because my metabolism is going up.. am i right? just to confirm about it.

well as i said before, make small changes to the diet to compensate for the changing body needs as you gain muscle/lose weight........

then measure the BW, BF%, muscle size then interpret the result.... no need for rocket science or guess work

i read from somewhere, you cannot totally eliminate carb. it will weaken your bone and eat your muscle.

Furthermore, only carb can give you energy fast enough if you do high intensity exercise like weight lifting and HIIT. Other source of energy require some time to convert to glucose.

of course you can't totally eliminate carb........

because carb is present in almost all food source......unless you drink only oil and no other food lol....

a portion of the protein you eat will definitely be converted to glucose and stored in muscle and liver as glycogen.......and some to fat........liver glycogen can be easily converted to glucose to supply cells that only use glucose such as the blood cells and the nervous system.....the heart to a certain degree

"eat muscle" only happen when liver glycogen is depleted.......which is rather impossible unless you have been starving for a minimum of 1 day.....yup totally no food for 1 day

heck...........the blood doesn't contain much glucose anyway for your knowledge.......hence some form of energy storage is always being converted to glucose all the time......

how to know how low(carb) is too low? when you feel weak and bad.......

Hi guys and gals, before asking my question here, I would like to give you some information about my weight loss plan...

Age: >20 and <30
Height: 173cm
Weight: 100kg

Here is my current plan:

Light to medium exercise for 2 or 3 times a week for the duration of 30 mins to 2 hours (Jogging, walking, strength training, badminton).

And I plan to lose about 20~30 Kg before October.

I skip my breakfast. But I take my lunch and dinner only (1/4 of my regular amount of rice + vegetables + little fish for lunch and also dinner). And from what i searched, amount of food that I took equal to about 400~600 joule per meal.

I have done some research and my BMI was in dangerous zone and my daily BMR was about 2k. So I was planning to lose at least 0.4~0.6kg which is about 1500 joules a day until I hit my target.

=========================================

For the past 10 days (until today), I been losing my weight from 100kg to 95kg which i think is very good and I would like to keep going.

So my question is, is my plan will work or not? Serious advise from all the Pros and Sifus are very needed. Million thanks smile.gif

20-30 kg is too big a change i think.......

anyway.....get a journal, keep track of everything.......and make changes when necessary......
your body changes all the time when you are losing weight.......so change the diet and exercise accordingly....

couple of tips to combat the hunger(which i think is present based on your diet)
1) split meals to smaller portion and more frequently
2) protein keeps you full longer than carb.......hence increase protein and reduce carb

oh........and have a medical checkout with the doctor.......to make sure that you are fit enough before doing intensive exercises
