Sigh, why do u keep PLAYING with the dumbell? Try googling or go youtube and learn how to use them properly. Dont just sit and curl them hoping to sweat like you've just lifted 200lbs off your chest! I like to tegur some ppl who dont know what they're doing when they're in the gym..not to show off to be a smart ass, but to share what I've learnt from others. Ask people if u dont know what to do, dont worry about getting scolded or looked down on. What doesnt kill u only makes u stronger!!!

xixo, tell me about it bro, some just come in thinking they know everything. The rest are sacred or shy to ask coz they think the bigger guys were born with knowledge on working out! Haha
Everyone starts from somewhere, thats why I like to approach ppl and share proper techniques, its not like I'm gonna gain 10kg by helping someone, LOL..
Orang90, dumbell je tak cukup la bro. U need to do workouts for your ENTIRE body, not just your arms. I'm not saying u hv to do a full body workout EVERYDAY, instead, break it up into different body sections for different days. Go read the bodybuilding thread, loads of good info there mate, and it will help u out A LOT!

wei wei..ehhehe. i also commercial gym member. can cuci mata a bit. so more motivation to do workout. ahahahah.

ego wont help u. do a correct way. i saw many newbies in freeweight section, do a curling 50lbs, but they use momentum and back to help it. they might get injury because of that. it is better to start light weight as long u do it in correct way. dont care if people look you weak, as long as u know of what u do and hit the right spot of muscle. big guy will respect u and will help u if u want to learn from them. dont be so ego.

orang90 - u forget back muscle is of the big group muscle. forget arms and abs. focus chest, back, shoulder and leg. do it in intense.

Mark, u shouldnt FORGET arms and abs mate, they're equally as important. FOCUS more on chest, back and shoulders, but ALWAYS REMEMBER that your arms, abs and portions below the waist also need to be worked on, they wont just turn lean by themselves. They do need attention too, just not as much compared to the 3 bigger parts.
Work those abs baybeh, u wont regret it!

Didn't sweat? I find it weird as I sweat like hell even I'm in an air-conditioned room. I guess you're doing the wrong way. The correct method will make your musles swell and you'll be able to sweat alot.

i agree with u, but arms workout wont make u tired so much compare to other 3 major muscle. thats y i recommend him to focus more to 3 major muscle.

hell yes no need to forget arms. once u do chest and back muscle, u already do ur minor workout for your arm. abs workout 7 minutes is enough. eheheh. i only do abs workout once a week. i read pull up workout already work on your abs too.

17% fat of the calculation. aiyo. need to reduce 3-5%.

I'd say 12kg for the effort he's promised to put in. Remember that muscle is denser than fat, so just because you're gaining MASS, doesnt necessarily mean its a bad thing mate. If you're doing what you're telling us here, then its definitely an improvement on your side. Just be honest with YOURSELF and dont cheat on your diet and workouts. We can only advise u, the rest is your own will power..

Since we're on numbers, taking in consideration on the information so far, I'll put my money on 5kg.

I'll race you for extra motivation if you want, started this week. But my program is centered around weight loss/strength gain for better pull up performance.
