Do coffee enema will also help you loose weight. All the shitty excess will come out. Also good for colon cancer. Which is the no cancer killer here. wink.gif

=( can you guys like... not overanalyze so much, stop going so much into details about the finer and intrinsic points of dieting and just cut calories? Trust me it's easy to lose bf%. It starts getting insanely hard when you're already lean and want to hit a single digit %.

All you need is to pick a diet program which you think you can ENJOY and stick with it LONG TERM, possibly for LIFE.

When you hear shit like.... Body transformation in 12 weeks, or a product commercial which says it's a MUST to use for fat loss, ditch it. Drop it like it's hot. All short term crash course crap.

Wow so nice to see so many support from everyone.
I am also trying to lose those pesky pounds. More so when my boss actually pulled me aside informing me the upper management have commented on my weight and asking if I am doing anything about it.

How embarassing is that?

Anyway that embarassment made me join Fitness First and OMG whole body aching from working out yesterday.

Wish me luck ppl!

Hey Arrio, I am in the industry but I work behind the scene. But it is a good incentive to kick my own ass to workout: lose weight or lose your job!

But hey anyone can help me out, I prefer to do weights than cardio. I seem to do okay at weights but I just cannot run on the treadmill, I just feel horribly bad running on them.

Any tips?

like one of the forumer mentioned

you cannot outtrain a bad diet (always keep that in mind)

if you want to lose weight, my advice is to start from your kitchen smile.gif

Oh ya, don't go for crash diet like DL mentioned. Try read and ask around and choose the best diet that you can maintain for long time. In order to do so, you need the knowledge smile.gif

Anyway, do weight. If cardio = treadmill, i think you better reconsider it. Cross trainer is better. smile.gif But, do weight, seriously smile.gif

hye, i'm 21, 175cm and 80kg.

my current excercise is jogging twice a week (30 min, around 240 cal on treadmill). I jog at constant speed, is that good?

and i also play badminton twice a week (around 1 hour game).

My diet is breakfast 2 slice bread or a pau or fried noodle or 2 fried egg
Lunch is quater plate rice, half plate vege and a piece of egg. (It's kinda hard to choose food as i'm working and only nasi campur stall is near to me)
dinner is 2-3 pcs chicken and vege.

i have doing this for about 1 month, but no weight loss. any thing i can improve?

intense low volume heavy weight training lasting 30 mins a session for both men AND women just twice a week are superior to fat loss compared to cardio WITHOUT A DOUBT. If certain women are still stupid, stubborn or ignorant by saying ,'I'm afraid to get manly muscles' DESPITE DOING RESEARCH which shows no such thing deserve to get shot in the head.

Note that I said even with research. not generalizing. I have gotten 3 female friends down losing 6 to 12kg of pure bodyfat with weight training and diet alone, NO CARDIO or minimal cardio. and I'm not even a personal trainer.

+1, true that.

I lost 7kg in 3 weeks just by weight training and clean diet.

Mostly compound exercises, go do research around or read the stickies. If I were you, I rather hit the gym than using that machine.

At the end of the day, it's the diet that helped me to lose my weight and fats.

hi darklight, i will start on my gym exercises this week. Is it good to start something like what you said above? heavy weight training with low reps. Hopefully will cut down fat and add muscles.

Ease into it..Don't kill yourself the first time. Learn.correct.form, do.it right then do it heavy. Squats or leg presses, bench press or.machine chest, chin ups or machine rows or pulldowns.

Okay, for my first session, I think I would really need to ask the trainer about diet, gym training, where to attack first and go on.

Im planning to do squats and seated leg curl to strengthen my lower body portions and two upper body exercises like bench press and dumb bell curl exercises 3 sets with 16 reps each. then only go for my cardio.

do you think this is fine?

I was like you about 5 -6 months ago, my weight was 86kg and height is about 176-177. Now i am 70-72kg.. keep changing. What i did was totally no rice for dinner, just chicken breast and vege. Depends on how hungry am i. Then for breakfast would be multigrain bread + Oats.

I jogged almost 5 to 6 days per week. I would advise you to do some weight lifting too. At first i kept on ran and ran and did not bother to do any weight training and i look flabby after cutting down weight. You can do bench pressing or pumping to tone up your chest then man boobs would not be obvious. Good luck and hope that you will success too.

MOST IMPORTANT WOULD BE DETERMINATION !!! REMEMBER WHAT IS UR OBJECTIVE!!
