MGS is pure Stealth game in my opinion.
Splinter Cell is ok also although i don't play dark game .. spoil my eyes

MGS imo is better for its story, but I personally see that as a negative because I really hate long long cutscenes ._.
My vote goes to Splinter Cell

well is true that it has long cutscenes but thats its trademark feature they want to make it like u watching a movie
on SC i think story is too bland i prefer MGS cause nice story
loving one thing does not meant u can force someone to love it too
atleast don be like the replier of ign they said alot bad words

mr kojima likes to do long cutscenes in his games... its norm for him since early times...

Vampire Rain puts stealth element in both MG and SC to shame

Splinter Cell is too tedious and not fun IMO. Metal Gear is more fun.

Definitive would be Metal Gear series. Secondary comes Splinter Cell. The first 5 minutes of Metal Gear Solid in PSOne is still etched in my mind.

nope i live in a city and i saw a similar poll at IGN.com which SC and MGS fan equal in number
so i decided to make one here to see wat our malaysian gamers think

both games have different scope.
MGS not always stick to stealth. there's mini games and bosses
SC always sticking to stealth, but this makes it less interesting coz only 1 way of playing.
