Where to buy an OPTICAL CABLE

Getting Started

Hi,
I've been looking around trying to find an optical cable (toslink) to connect my PS3 to my home theatre system. So far I mave been to:
Mediaplex
Harvey Norman
Carrefour
Ace Hardware
and none of them had a decent cable. In fact, Ace Hardware was the only shop which had an optical cable in stock, however it was the only unit left, the box was ripped open, it was 12' long and MYR100!
All I need is a short cable, one or two feet long would suffice. I'm not too interested in getting a high end one, just one that will not fail with normal use.
Where can I purchase an optical cable suitable for my scenario in Kuala Lumpur or its surrounding areas for a decent price?

You may have to check with one of them. |

Thing abt this Toslink cable is also the connector...yeah..they always say its standard but there are many cases it is loose...most ppl is still a small piece of paper and cellotape the rear a bit if that happens  |

China brand. Not a quality one. Actually I try ask at Desa HT kepong first, but they don't have a stock. So I try my luck search at Sengheng. Quiet lazy to go at Lowyat just to buy 1 optical cable.  |

Actually I do noticed that some computer stores eg at IT Mall PJ do carry optical cable nowadays. For such a short one you may not need an expensive one.
