Hi members ,i had using my rush with estimated about 3 yrs ..I feel that my rush easily get bumpy and not stable as normal..A bit uneven road ,will feel the car so bumpy like lowered car .. Is that any rush user have the same problem with me?What is the problem?

Since there are so many reasons and hard to investigate..So i would like to post some photos and let you all see like got absorber faulty and automatic lowering down the car?tyre overflated?Attached Image Attached Image Attached Image Attached Image

Your shock absorbers is faulty. Replace it.

using back oem or branded?

Cheaper alternative is OEM. If you want branded, safest bet is to go for KONI..

What tyres you using ? How many years nvr change tyre liao ?

using back the original tyre since i'm bought that time because i rarely use like go office or back home or shopping during saturday and sunday..the tyre is still ok..checked the absorber no oil leak and the distance between fender and tyre is still original height.

A typical shock absorber is good for 60000km or 2 years. After that, time for replacement.

Dont need change so often la bro ... if normal daily driving can last longer than that.. unless you always carry heavy loads

Rush already 3 years in the market? i tot its new.. like 2 years top

anyhoo. check out ur shock absorbers, n how often do u do balancing n alignment?

my total millage only did 19884K...Still under 20K ..Only did 4x times service....Just did balancing and alignment 2 weeks ago..I tot was alignment run away ,so do it again..the result still same.


Added on August 7, 2010, 4:47 pmcan i go back to the toyota service centre to exchange or waranty for the absorber or else ask them check the car..

u must b very good in QC-ing car wor~ sweat.gif
it's under wear n tear item,so meaning ard 60,000kms or 2-5yrs which almost time to wear out/worn off dun need to change then d car will not b nice to drive any more~
i change my abs every 40-50k km due to stiffness n worn out abs makes my ride kinda harsh~ brows.gif

Yes, overinflated tyres can give you bumpy ride. Try to let go some air from the tyre and see whether there's improvement?
