Hi all, I've always wanted to ask this question but after so many rounds of googling, I found nothing. So decided to ask directly here.

How people actually purchase goods from countries like Taiwan, Korea, USA, UK ??

Can anyone teach me how to directly purchase from these countries without any intermediaries?

Through intermediaries the price will be so much higher if I were to buy alot......

Any ways to buy directly????

(not going overseas of cos lol)

No intermediaries ya??
No agent/middle people ya??

just purchase it directly from the supplier.... thumbup.gif
but in business there always a risk..."can you trust your online supplier"??
actually if you buying some personal stuff online you can always use those "forwarding services" company
that's what's a lot of LYN forumer do..."spree" from UK/US/JPN/CHN/TAIWAN....
actually they just act as agent for those forwarding company tongue.gif
and of cause when you using their services there were always a "price" to pay...

Maybe the night vision goggle is too cheap. The custom found no way of over taxing. So they got the police to invite the person in for a chat to negotiate how much he's gonna pay.
Most of all knew that there's no way to avoid tax because malaysia custom just simply tax anything they see is lucrative enough.
In other words, there's no law for them.
Unless u had someone close enough to be a datuk or tan seri or even sultan himself.

Are they simply taxing base on the value quality and leather, cloth.

There is no law for them,

In Malaysia is this legal?

Paying tax and get your items is better than not getting your item at all. That's my personal experience.

What if poor people doesn't have the ability to pay off? Basically would be around RM300-RM100 depending value of the item

normally they see your face, if you smart enough you gonna to pay much.

overall is pretending the keep on smiling and god bless you.

Any idea to avoid? What about datuk and tan siri?

ok..guys there are some banned items or restricted / potential sercurity threat items list for each country.
obtain the List from 'custom' department.

moreover, For TS could you please specify the trading quantity of items and describe the items gener as well.

in reality there are few ways which people have discussed earlier ..

here is something for mass traders..
u got to open an trade account with your local bank and upon request you have to ask for extra service like 'leter of credit' LC from the Bank.
Bank will keep your collateral as security or u need a fixed deposit to open an LC. the % of LC is depending on how good is your business with the Bank.
then you ask your overseas supplier to send you the goods and u got to give him the LC ..
your supplier will then send you the goods through their local bank together with your LC.
upon approval of your LC from their Local Bank then the goods will be shipped to you and your supplier will get his money from his Local Bank
your Bank will receive the notice and invoice of goods shipment to you and will receive the documents.
once the shipment arrive then you can get the goods and Bank will settle the amount with your LC .. against fix-deposit or % of LC which u opened.
both sides happy...

% of LC is another issue...you can ask me for more details..
