Hi... being called by job hunter on a post as a BA exec on the company. Not so desperate to change job right now, just want to know does the company have a good working environment? I'm currently happy with my job but still might consider leaving if the salary pays better... anyone worked there before?

i was headdhunter by them last month for the apprenticeship programme and i already accept the job offer and will start to work this week. i think it is a good company although not as famous as other giant insurance company. The HR dept very friendly and helpful. I think u guys should consider the offer and grab the opportunities that coming on ur way as at the end experiences is more important than qualifications. By the way, what position u get offered by them????

I work there b4. Environment is terrible, a lot of politicking as i can know that management for MCIS (life) and Zurich (general) cannot get along well. But benefit wise not bad... 1) Can claim parking... 2) Medical Claim unlimited (depend on ur boss lol... if u always mc, boss will question lol) 3) Full insurance coverage 4) Housing loan & car loan (dunno still available or not) .... If can try to put this company as your last choice as i heard most of the experienced staff there whom come from other insurance company saying that this insurance company a bit luar biasa sikit la... in terms of management (quite strict) and people dare not mixed around but is a good start of ur career in insurance company lo......

Bumping this topic up.

I've been offered a position with Zurich Insurance Malaysia Berhad. Are they closely related to MCIS Zurich? Is anyone working or has worked for Zurich Insurance Malaysia (HQ near Dewan Bahasa)..

Apparently the team they are setting up is new and mainly IT centric

I have a friend working in Ops in Zurich. At first it was hectic due to integration with MAA and their HQ policies but i guess things are stabilizing . Zurich currently has some stake in MCIS Zurich but the plan is to sell out by this year as they cannot hold two licenses

Sorry for bumping old thread but I felt compelled to give an input here as I working there for couples of months.

I concur to what kaikeikan had said above, too much politic
I can feel it from my very 1st day. Most staff seem uptight, the working environment is typical stuck-up strict corporate. and many new staff doesn't last long as I'm witness new hired leaving just after I'm in and I heard staff after me leaving also just couple of month.

It not worth all that benefits you got for such terrible working place

So, any changes in MCIS since you join until now?? How the working environment looks like? What are the common staff benefits? Thabks for your sharing if any.
